This was so fun! A great way to get into the River and cool off. There were deep parts for kids to jump in as well as shallow parts for us to walk and also swim. Super fun and FREEE!

Great and easy spot to bring the family especially if you’re staying at the Cape Coves Campground. Only 18 minutes away and close to Townsend. Careful for snakes! They don’t bother you if you don’t bother them. Quick moving water but also spots where it’s shallow and safe enough for even an infant to play. Tons of rocks for skipping. It’s clean - Help keep it clean.

The Wye is just outside of Townsend and is in the Smoky National Park. The Park is free and so is all parking.
It's actually a Y, not a wye (whatever that is). The Y is formed by two branches of Little River coming together just upstream of town.
