What a wonderful place. We had our 1st anniversary dinner here, and it turned out so perfect. We sat out on the patio, and were served by Leo, who was awesome! The whole staff were so professional. The setting is so beautiful, and walking out on the pier after eating is a treat. We had the burger and the fish tacos, both amazing. But the tater tots appetizer truly lived up to its call of being world famous! Just amazing. The key lime pie was great. There was something about the crust that was unique and paired so well with the creamy lime filling. Wow! I would recommend Mar Vista to anyone. Thank you for a perfect night.

Probably the restaurant with the best view and setting in the area. The food was decent and good quality as well. A little pricier than comparable places, but that's what you pay for such a beautiful place. There was no wait time because we went for late lunch in a weekday. The staff was friendly as expected. Highly recommended.

OMG!!!!! Best place in Longboat Key. The fish dip and the Rockefeller oysters are delightful. Parmesan crusted flounder was amazing & the shrimp and grits are a dream. Our server Boryana was a total gem. The desserts were delicious. We will definitely be visiting this place again.

My favourite place that I visited while staying in the are for a few days. Arrived by boat and ordered a few drinks while we waited for our table as we wanted to eat under the shade of the trees. Very relaxing and service was excellent and friendly. Food was a little pricey but good quality and worth the money considering the location. Will definitely return.
