Decent place for dinner situated between Bradenton and Longboat Key. Honestly not much to say here the food was above pretty good, the atmosphere at the time we went was pretty quiet. I did get a bit of a vibe from the staff like we were an inconvenience… but giving grace here as it could have been an off night. Kids menu was pretty standard, all in all no surprises but I can’t say there was a WOW factor from the food we ate or our general experience. Good news… this place is located right next to a Tyler’s Ice Cream, so can go treat yourself after.

I highly recommend Lazy Lobster of Longboat Key. Not only was our service amazing, our new friend and bartender, Courtney provided us a ‘cure all’ for frizzy (humid!) hair. She was amazing. I enjoyed the lobster roll. Succulent. But the chips. Omg. I even took them in a to go container- they are like a crispy and chewy explosion. My friend had two lobster tails. The square of potato au gratin was the highlight along with the French haricots vert.

Excellent menu and crowd size is medium. The early bird specials are excellent for lunch. We ordered the Key West Shrimp dinner that came with coleslaw and fries. The coleslaw has a junto of pineapple so an added twist of flavor for those of us that are foodies. Would recommend this place 100%!

Dinner was incredible. We liked it so much we returned for lunch a few days later. Sadly, the service wasn't as good as our first visit.

Yes they do.
See above but let me emphasize: must have a reservation esp now!! Great place and is packed.
Hi Pat, Yes we do! Reservations are strongly encouraged if you wish to dine between 5 & 7:30pm. Before or after you'll probably be able to be seated in a timely fashion without one. Our outside Terrace is closed for the summer, when open it is first come, first served. Thank you for your inquiry. We hope you'll join us!
Stringent. Masks are required upon entering and while moving about the restaurant. Our Main Dining Room is still voluntarily operating at 50% capacity. Outside seating is not crammed like other places we've seen. Menus are sanitized after every use and all hi-touch surfaces are cleaned throughout the shift. Restrooms are noticeably clean. Our restaurant was one of the first 100 restaurants in the state of Florida to receive the FRLA Seal of Commitment, for enhanced training and sanitation practices.
Hi Joel, Thank you for your inquiry. We can accommodate up to 10 guests at one table in the Main Dining Room. We can accommodate up to 7 at one table on the Terrace. We are maintaining 50% capacity and 6 ft between tables in the Main Dining Room until further notice.
Not that I am aware of
Hello Mandy! Glad you are coming to our beautiful area! its really the perfect time to do so, before the crowds descend. We do not have a direct view of the sunset because businesses other than resorts are relegated to the bay side of the gulf. You will be able to walk across Gulf of Mexico drive and easily see it from several public beach access points or perhaps from the resort you're staying at. Hope you'll join us for dinner!
Hi Joan, I'm sorry I did not respond sooner, I just returned from vacation. Unfortunately we do not ship our Maine lobsters. Your last name raised my curiosity and though I'm certain there are lots of Wall's in Chicago, but are you related to the Wall family that used to spend their winters on Longboat Key? Fond memory recalls the first name of Burton? Kind regards, Michael Garey - Co-Proprietor
