We have been customers of Violin Shop Tampa for about a decade and we are always impressed with them. They have great products at competitive prices. The have wonderful programs-their rental plan, their trade-in plan, 2 year interest free financing. They have always been more than fair on their trade-in valuation. They have given us invaluable information over the years, including helping us get the most amazing private instructor. Their shop is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxing. We have never felt pressured and I know from our experiences and from what we have heard from others, they are very trustworthy. And finally, the people there are all amazing. We love having this shop be our local string instrument store!

I'm an accomplished pianist (piano performance major) and had played the violin in the college (Boston U) orchestra. I really want to play again and wanted to purchase one better than my old beginner's violin but I hadn't touched a violin in decades. So I definitely needed help. At the Sarasota Violin Shop, I was happy to find a wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable staff. Since I can barely find a scale now, it was very helpful to have Mr. Mendoza demonstrate the violins so I could compare their sound played by a true professional. Wonderful experience. No hype or pressure. I would highly recommend them.

First time visiting the Violin Shop Tampa and it was a wonderful experience! Everyone was so kind, especially Mikel who went above and beyond to help with my daughter's cello. Would highly recommend visiting for all string needs and to admire the beautiful selection of instruments. Grateful to have such a treasure of a store nearby.

I would say that unless you need a special t string, you will probably be able to pick up any of your basic needs there without ordering ahead.

They may be able to point you toward someone to consult with. CAUTION! That is a major and expensive project. Call them and ask. It's worth a try, if you are up to such an involved process.
