First time coming here, it is HUGE several rinks, ( not all available for the general public) lots of excitement here. Separate area for 1st timers, it's great! Stacking 5 gal buckets to assist until your comfortable. So much fun.

I've been playing hockey here 1 to 3 times per week for 10 plus years. Love the game! The league is generally well run but a few things that leave me with less than five stars are parking is now much more difficult with the construction of two new rinks on the old parking lot. There will be a total of six rinks in 2023 including a rink with a stadium for the Barracuda minor league team. Parking used to be free, and there is still some free parking but if it's full, there's a paid lot across the street which is a long walk. So you now need to plan extra time to get to your game on time. Stanley's is great for post game beers. Mask and vaccine mandates were dropped. I wish they kept the vaccine mandate.

Great place to have classes or just a public skating session. The facility has a wide variety of classes for both kids and adults for all levels. They host multiple youth and adult hockey leagues to play organized hockey. Currently there are 4 rinks but they extend the facility to have two more and it will be a home arena for San Jose Barracudas. It's great to see how arena is developing over the years!

It's worth calling & checking with the rink, sometimes there's a hockey tournament or other event that can override their normal hours. Otherwise, the website has normal hours; look for Public Skate.
5am to 12 am reservations are only required for large parties.

Its best to call them. This is a public question place and they probably don't monitor it for questions.

Yes, they have. I saw speed skating practicing before.
Parking is free. Facing the building from the front drive down the entrance on the right hand side to the back of the building. From there you can park and see the entrance that they have in the back. Plenty of parking.
