Showed up during regular business hours to them inexplicably closed. After returning I found out my glasses lens warranty doesn't cover loss "because they have to send the lenses back." They quoted me over $400 and 2-3 weeks for new glasses. Just ordered the same quality lenses and frames online for $105 (including 2 day shipping and transition lenses). Had to measure my own pupilarly distance since they didn't include that on my prescription, and when I called for the information they tried telling me that PD can be different based on different frames. I don't think the distance between my pupils changes based on the type of frames I wear... Will be going elsewhere for my eyecare. Edit: They had time to respond to my review yet have still not called me back providing my PD.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for awhile because they deserve kudos! Albany Eyecare was fabulous! I’m not local and was visiting family nearby during the summer when one contact lens broke. I had a fairly tight timeframe and needed it replaced as soon as possible. None of the other places could even fit me in. these guys and gals were the epitome of customer service. They were able to fit me in, order the rigid gas permeable lens and get it within 2 days (!) and help me with my frames as well. They were thoroughly professional and so friendly! I got the best impression of Albany based on my interactions with them.

I arrived Monday morning2/3/20 and was first told to come back due to a staff meeting. This was upsetting due to the fact I have limited work hours and my schedule would not allow me to get my glasses until the end of the week. A representative with Albany eye Care named Tammy, was incredibly kind and came out to ensure I was a satisfied customer. Her actions changed what was going to be a one-star review, into a five. Thank you for your excellent customer service, and accommodating my specific needs. 🙂

My family and I have been patients at Albany Eye Care for quite a few years now, and we couldn't be happier! We are always welcomed with a friendly greeting and the clinical staff and doctors are just as fun and friendly. We love the advanced technology that the doctors use. Most importantly, we LOVE the great selection of eye wear!! Keep up the great work, gang!!
