Clean. Room keys were inconsistent. Had to keep getting new ones bc they wouldn't work. Only one elevator was operational and pool was inaccessible for some unknown reason. TV remote tricky-had to stand in certain area of room to operate. Small convenient food area with items you can purchase. Overall good experience!

We stayed at the 504 North Mountain Rd. location in room 110. On arrival we could not check into our room by the 3pm check in time as we were told inspections were being done. The lobby was full of upset people who had all gotten rooms here because there was a Motley Crue concert at Hershey Park. Rude and upset comments were being made and some people were demanding to see a manager because the concert started at 4:30 and now if we couldn't check in soon would be late for the start of this concert. The manager never came down, but we were finally able to check in shortly after 3. The rooms were clean, the only problems we had is our exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work and we had to be careful because the tub is really slippery, there was no mat to put down in it. The water pressure was great though. The beds could use replacing and the pool was still closed but that really wasn't too big of an issue for us. Upon checkout we did notice Management gave us a discount for the check in inconvenience which was nice. All in all we had a good stay.

The place is clean. It could use an upgrade. Carpet needs at least stretching. Several small things were missing such as hand soap. The location is pretty good. I did have a nice sleep. I am not sure I would stay here again. The price is pretty good by today’s standards.

I am a former employee of the Candlewood and I still keep in touch with staff. I had the pleasure of working with Heather West for several years. She is now the hotels General Manager. The place looks amazing! The front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Way to go Heather! I will recommend this to all of my out of town guest and the medical staff that I work with now.
