I stopped into the Kaiser Pharmacy early on a weekday right when it opened and there was some construction going on in the building. I was looking for some allergy medication and wasn't able to find the one I've purchased there before. I checked with the cashier and they changed from the bottle form to the tablets where you push out of the sheets. However the options she provided were the 30 tablets or a larger pack of the 90 tablets. I ended up picking up the larger pack. The service with the cashier was good. I noticed there wasn't very good cell signal and the WiFi wasn't working that well. The best way to use my phone at the time was to step outside to make a call or check something on my phone.

More of a Covid-19 update than a review. Entrance for the time being is to the left of the building where the pharmacy entrance is. Depending on which way you come in, there's going to be signs that say "Stay Left" or "Stay Right" to direct you to the new temporary entrance. They will ask why you're there and if you have an appointment or if you're picking up from the pharmacy. As always, they'll check your temp and go over hand hygiene. I believe for now, you can't accompany another patient unless necessary (children, spouse for care). Always wear a mask and if your mask has a valve, they'll give you a disposable mask to wear over your personal. No walk-ins at this time as everything is by appointment only. Most of them will be by phone or video call, but depending on your symptoms you'll come in for a physical appointment. They'll do the usual weight/heart rate/bp measurements when you get checked in. While you wait for your doctor, they'll actually call you to talk about your symptoms before coming in for a physical exam. After the exam, they leave the room and will call you about what they would recommend and review of the physical exam. This is to limit the amount of exposure between the physician and patient and for everyone's safety. Also, I love Dr. Chang! She's been my PCP for over 10 years and takes great care of me!

Pros: Doctors are good. Dr.Nanh is caring and helps with my concerns. She also regularly emails after my visit. Nurses are helpful. Front desk personnel are good. I got my lab results in 3-4 days. Phone appointment with doctor is easy. Faster in person appointments. No surprising medical bills. I have been with other insurances before. Cons: Workers carrying machinery drop them with thudding noises. Not just once, several times. It didn't feel quiet for an hospital atmosphere. Injection clinic does not have appointment system. I went at 4.05pm and checked in. There was an elderly gentleman in wheelchair waiting before me. 8-9 folks came after us but they got the injection before us. I felt sorry for the old man. When I asked the nurse if others took appointment, she said there is no appointment. That's just how the system works. I got my injection at 4.50pm after 45 MINUTES WAIT!! What a waste of time. Old gentleman got in just before I did. Pathetic! I would like to give more stars but this was bad. My doctor ordered 5 blood tests and they drew 5 vials of blood on the same day. I felt very tired and dizzy because of this. It will be logical to do it twice since some of the tests were not urgent. Being already sick and getting dizzy on top of it, only adds to sickness.

Horrible experience the first time we tried Kaiser. The nurse practitioner told us to go wait in the pharmacy for my name to come and collect the medicine. After waiting for 20 minutes, we decided to ask and were told that there was no medicine in my name and probably the doctor forgot to send. The person then confirmed that he is working on my prescription, after waiting for another half an hour, we again decided to check and finally got the medicine after explaining the entire history again to a new person as the person we spoke to earlier simply said he doesn't know what happened. Utterly ridiculous!!
