This is our favorite spot. The beach is my happy place. It's my peace and calm. This definitely doesn't disappoint. You can't get this peace and quiet at inner city beaches. We love it! I just wish they had restrooms and/or maintained their port a potties better/more often.

One of our favorite beach spots on PCH, every time I have visited, the beach is clean, no trash or litter anywhere 👍🏼 Worth the 1.5 hrs drive in traffic. Usually packed on Sat. and Sun. So make sure you arrive early and don't forget to pay for parking using the app. There's signs posted along the parking areas. Keep an eye out for dolphins!

I went to the Hiking side of the park and was great for a non experienced hiker. Went with the family and had a good time, 2.2 miles in 1hr. The views are fantastic.

I was driving by with my friend and we came to watch the sunset it was stunning and absolutely gorgeous. It's a fun place to go camping if you get a reservation at the State Park itself. And you're right next to the beach.

Yes, I camped on the beach. $33 per night.
I am not sure
Dogs on a leash are allowed in the Park's day use areas, campgrounds and beaches. Dogs are not allowed on the backcountry trails or dirt roads.
Not to close.... there are small towns before and after off of the hwy...but I'd say about 15 mins or so away
Don't think so.
My understanding is that no camping is allowed. Only day use of the beach as long as you can legally park on Highway 1.
You can tent camp just make sure you don't go the wong way on the beach.
I did not see any signs about camping. I do not think you can camp there.
In your car, not outside
There is camping at Leo Carrillo which is at the intersection of Mulholland and PCH. There is also a rarity in So Cal of on the sand beach side camping at Thornhill Broom
Yes all the time you nit
You have to reserve the place before you arrive
Yea
This may not be the best beach for children for swimming there are no lifeguards at the beach and the Beachside drops and very quickly to the water the water could be very heavy and slam you into the sand I'd prefer a better Beach like a Zuma this is a beach where the water is very clear there's not much Riptide there's lifeguards showers and more Zuma Beach is perfect it's a shallow Beach they gradually goes in to the ocean Eco walk out 50 ft and be at your waist the water is very clear and the waters are more calm and you can catch good waves for surfing swimming and much more there's also showers at this locations and restaurants
There's no place to BBQ and you 'could' swim here, but I wouldn't advise it as it's pretty rocky several yards into the water. CHECK THAT... I was referring to the area near The Rock. I haven't visited the area where you pay to park. My apologies for the misunderstanding.
Yes you can. The gate is not actually closed, it is just not occupied by personnel.
Air quality might be impacted. I'd check air conditions before heading out.
Yes. Great spot by big rock. Nice view also
No reservations needed, they have restrooms, it should be crowded on Sunday. If you are the campground side probably not for bbqs grill, not sure about the beach side. Remember first come first serve.

They are camping sites , im not sure about that since i never see anyone ..... camping round there ... besides on camping ground...
The waterfall trail is still closed. The only way in from the La Jolla Canyon parking lot is the Backbone Trail.
Sites normally sell out a year in advance
It's 30 dollars a night . we just stayed there right on the beach. Beautiful place.
Based on official website, Dogs on a leash are allowed in the Park's day use areas, campgrounds and beaches. Dogs are not allowed on the backcountry trails or dirt roads.
Both. But reservations are recommended.
You need to reverse your campingroung on first March at very early morning, you may have a chance to get your spot.
Yes the hiking trails are open and full of hikers
Yes, you can.
Do not know. Dogs are typically prohibited because of defecation contamination to the beachgoers.
I'm almost certain the max is 14 days. I'm sure moving to the campsite next to you for the other 14 days would be fine.
Absolutely!
No
