We were so excited to see the falls but unfortunately we didn’t know at this time, the falls dries up. But the trail was really beautiful. We tried to climb up using ropes but we failed. Overall really fun experience

This was a great little hike! I was here on Saturday, April 23rd. I arrived around 1pm and the parking lot was full (it's a small parking lot). I parked on PCH (free parking). It was a nice warm day. I encountered a lot of people on the trail. I arrived at the waterfall and there were several small groups of people relaxing taking in the shade near the waterfall. Overall, it was an easy little hike. Easy to get to. I highly recommend it. Happy Hiking!

We hosted a large hiking group with Los Angeles Fun Events in April to hike Escondido falls in the month of April. The hiking trail is very easy and well paved— the landscape was a beautiful lush green with tons of wild mustard plants and flowers. There was some water flowing, but manage expectations going in— it all depends on time of year and rainfall when considering waterfalls in SoCal. The parking lot is pretty small and costs $12.00, BUT, we had no problem finding free parking on PCH, just pay attention to the signage. Highly recommend going in time for sunset, not a lot of people aside from our group and the lighting was gorgeous.

There is a 3.5 both way hike from PCH to the water fall. That’s an easy hike and 3 or 3 times you have to pass through the water and it’s not a big deal. The parking is small and on side of PCH the price is 12$ but you should be lucky to find a spot there. But easily you can find on the side of PCH. I can’t understand why people can park on the side of Winding way. Dogs are allowed but the signs says on leash. That’s a short trail and half of that have not enough weight for biking. I’m not sure if there was a sign for that or not. The most important thing is you better plan to go there a or two days after raining days.

It's about 2 miles each way; about 4 miles round trip.
Yes
Small lot that fits like 10 cars, then the rest park on the street. Yes, there is parking.
Its mostly flat ground with some small hills and water streams to cross so be careful it can be challenging for the elderly.
No
I was there Saturday (4/9/22), there is no water in the stream as you hike up but the waterfalls has a small amount of water. It was still really nice. The water below the waterfall was about ankle deep.
A trickle
When we went it was dry, no water
The trails are open. Water flow is about the same as usual - not very much haha
No water, went 2 weeks ago. Just alittle dripping down the rocks
Yes only to the first waterfall, n careful with walking hikers. Happy biking 🤙🏼
When I went a few weeks ago it was open to the public, they just ask that you keep your mask on.
To get to the second water fall is more harder and as you get to the 1st one were it ends take the trail to the right and keep left. Its tricky but worth it if you like to hike mountains
The first part yes, second part might need to carry depending on the type of dogs. Cause it's all most rock climbing.
It is open from sunrise to sunset but you must wear a mask.
Yup
Yes it is.
There is a parking lot at the beginning of the road you have to pay to park, many people also park on the street!
Yes
No i think it dries out during the summer months. There was only a trickle when i went. There should be more water when it rains
around 2 miles
Not much
At some points its fine because of the dirt road. But some points get sketchy but not too bad
