It’s a great place to snorkel, especially for families and novices. The water is shallow and the current isn’t very strong so pretty much anyone can snorkel. There are a lot of fish, mostly small but in some of the deeper parts you can see some that are over a foot long and the water is very clear. I went in the first week of August and the water was not cold, definitely don’t need a wetsuit.

It's a beautiful place walk further down the trail you will find quite a few places this little deeper perfect for snorkeling and see a much larger fish!....... there's plenty of places to hike fish swim in a few places to camp

While this area is rather a pita to get to it's a worth while trip, water is crystal clear and teeming with life. The fish tend to approach you while wading it's really nice. Bring bug spray they grow them big out there
