This place is quite remote very quiet for anyone to have a family picnic or a family outing. If you like a peaceful place to hang out at this is the place to go. The bathrooms are clean I just have one complaint about the faucet it needs to be a full turn on faucet not automatic shut off. Because, you have to hold it with one hand and wash with the other. This needs to be updated to either an automatic one or one that stays on. You can turn it off yourself. Other than that the area is quite nice. To have a barbecue.

Absolutely love it here… We ended up with spot #11 which had access to small waterfalls near the road… We car camped peacefully for 2 nights… Definitely going back… Follow my IG for more locations @shelly_and_DAB

Amazing experience camping at Grout Pond, Branch Pond, Bourne and Lye Wilderness. Hiking, kayaking ,biking, camping, birdwatching, cooking on a fire pit and of course fishing. In my opinion, I felt such a sense of freedom and beauty and the option to do it all.

Spent a weekend hiking here, surprisingly warm for spring. I just wish more trees were green. But great place to hike

I don't listen to conspiracy if the vibe dose not feel good then dont go that's how I do now some conspiracy and mystery are cool but any time you have a big wilderness area or any place that's out there things can happen thats what I have observed from my travels
I camped there last month. No one is there to control who stays there. My closest neighbor there was from New York.
Dogs are allowed but must be leashed. The GMNF is thousands of acres and this question isn't telling me which trail you're referring to. So I can't say how long it will be to whatever waterfall you're referring to.
Yes
