This review is more for UPS as a whole than for this specific store. I sent a package recently to a friend of mine in Alabama. UPS failed to deliver the package to them, and instead routed it to a nearby facility WITHOUT informing them that they did so. It sat in the facility for days with no information, and then was returned to me, AGAIN without informing anyone. It's been sitting at the store for almost 2 weeks, and no one knew about it because there was no communication. I understand if deliveries can't be made for some reason (although most of the time the reason is dumb), but there needs to be some sort of communication. If I had not kept my tracking number, I never would have known, and I would have had to write it off as lost in transit. I now have to go pick up my package and pay for shipping AGAIN to try and get this to my friend. I have had multiple bad experiences with UPS "failing" to deliver a package to me (when in reality, the driver just... didn't want to open my gate), and now with this, I am done. I will not be using UPS again.

UPS is not a good company, I am so upset and appalled by their outrageous actions today. I received a notice saying that my son's shoes were going to arrive today I checked the time and tracked the package it was due for delivery between 3:30pm and 7:30pm, then I received another email stating that the package is going to be returned to sender because receiver refused the package I was offended I did not make any contact with UPS whatsoever. I called UPS going through that inadequate automated phone system was a nightmare finally on the 3rd call I reached a live person she put in a claim for me and inform me that someone from the San Diego UPS distribution Site will be calling me of course that never happened. I had to call again to find out what was going on with my package. The automated system said it was going to be delivered however when I got to a live person again she said it was not, it had already been returned and I had to call the company where I ordered the package from to see if they could block the package. I am beside myself with this incompetence Organization. I had to take time out of my busy day to fix a problem that they are responsible for. My son can only wear the type of shoes that I ordered for him and now they were sent back. UPS customer service lacks integrity they lied 3 times to me, they said they made contact with me, they said someone was going to call me with in the hour I might add, and they said the package was on its way when it had already been returned. Not good!

UPS just sucks in general. However, this location, you can't even call for the verification of packages. Their hours of operation are ridiculous. Do not have your packages dropped off here. Find a better location.

Receiving my package was very taxing and trying this week. The delivery instructions were to get a signature before it could be delivered. January 25th was day 1. I read the message and tried to call to talk to a human. I was not able to. I signed the receipt on the back to allow the package to be left at the door. On day 2, the package was again not left, and a 2nd receipt was left. I was furious and again tried to call to no avail. On day 3, I was able to stay home between 10:00 and 12 noon. I left the 2 receipts outside, and they were marked, I'M HERE! The messenger came that day and left a 3rd receipt saying no more attempts at delivery. Finally I called the corporate office and said one word...COMPLAINT, and I was connected to a human. That person gave me a location where the package would be returning to, and would be available only between 730 and 8 pm. So I drive to the facility, only to be told it was somewhere else closer to me, but they closed at 8 pm also. I could not take another day off, so I made it to the other facility at 7:58. The doors were closed. I was just about to give up, when I met the last employee closing the door. I explained my situation, and he VERY KINDLY went back inside and retrieved the package. He was going home, but he took the time to get the package for me. He did not give me his name, but he redeemed UPS's credibility for me. For him I give 5+ stars, but for the way the phones are setup, and my frustrations, I give 1 star. I gave 3 overall. It could have been better, even though I know deliveries are hectic, and they have a job to do.

I would insure my guns. I've seen lots of crushed boxes an nobody owning up to it.

Doubt you will have much success. UPS is having issues. You should be able to which hub your package is at by looking at the detailed tracking status.
