San Diego unified transportation department doesn't care about the safety of our students and puts the convenience of the bus drivers over the students safety! No one answers the phone, ever! And when they do they are not helpful! I fought with them last year for having a bus stop at a dangerous location, now it's a bus stop that I would have to put my 12 year old daughter on a city bus just to get her to a stop just a more dangerous area! I wouldn't give them this one star, but had to just to write this review. Do your job !!! How is the safety of our kids not your highest priority???

Awful rout planning and having to wait for other kids parents. I go to a school 20 minutes away from my house. It usually takes 40 minutes to 1 hour because the people who plan the routes have no sense of direction. I feel like they go out of there way on purpose in the afternoon. I've said many times "this is a faster route" but they wont lisen. Also another thing. There is a 7 year old on my bus and we have to wait 10 minutes for his parents almost every day. The bus driver wont let him off even though his house is less than a block away. Speaking of houses. I use to be picked up in front of my house 2 years ago. This year they said "well hes old enough so he should walk". This is annoying because the bus literally drives by my house. Worst of all I have to walk up hill. Also sometimes the bus driver flat out skips my stop. I get there attention and tell them that they skipped my stop and all I get is a dirty look and they go to the next stop then back to mine. I would give 0 stars if I could.

if I could give no stars or half a star I would! there is no one that will listen to your issues and try to help u resolve, just a bunch of transfers and excuses why nothing is being handled! seriously debating homeschooling. at this point, we already do most of it at home anyway...maybe we'll move to Poway where the district gets praises for being so wonderful!
