Turk's is always going to be one of my favorite local bars. Lots of memories. I wish they were open later, but under the circumstances I totally understand. Love the copper bar and decor too. Great views. Convenient location. One of my favorite places since we moved to the area Thanks for always providing great cocktails & fun service!

Pretty good experience, the staff was friendly yet efficient. The corned beef on my reuben sandwich was nice and tender, and was served warm but not super hot. I gave 4 stars because the place is kind of cramped, and the restrooms could be in a little better condition. Very interesting decor though.

Dude. Super awesome server, who though she's crazy overworked is great at getting back to the table. Delicious food and drinks. The bloody Mary is a must if you like those. The grilled chicken I had was the absolute best cooked grilled chicken I've ever had. And it only had Swiss cheese on top - that's it. Hubby has the Reuben sandwich and said it was one of the best he has had (it's his go-to, everywhere).

Today we had lunch at Turks. In our quest to try fish and chips at several Southern California places, we stumbled upon this gem. We both thought the fish was more than generous. Nicely bartered and seasoned, it came out piping hot to us. The tarter sauce was delicious and they gave us plenty. The fries were done well with some seasoning but not overly salty. We thought this place deserved a 9 out of ten stars for taste and quantity. Try the fish and chips here and you will. It be disappointed!

The following is all gossip and hearsay, and I don't guarantee accuracy in the details. I hear that Turk was a very well known supporting actor from the silver screen who was the go-to guy for strong men like Hercules. He opened an elegant restaurant on Street of the Green Lantern in the late 1960s, at which he employed only experienced European waiters. He apparently opened 2 bars when he sold the restaurant to the "Quiet Cannon" (now Cannon's), and required the new owner of the one in Sunset Beach to spell its name with a final "c" when he in turn sold it. I believe his lovely daughter has now inherited this place on the "warf."
Limited seating outdoors only
Yes, but social distancing protocol on dining in. Also special hours during this time I believe it's 8:00 they close.
Dunno? Harry Varteresian former Hollywood actor used to own it until his passing in 2000.
The owners.
Check business hours.
I'm sorry I do not know.
Not sure exactly, but Turks is one of few places in the US that offers a view of a sunrise and sunset over water. It's location is unique to the coastline to offer such an experience!
