Great place to take the little ones ! Water is very shallow, I’m 5’3 and went towards the end where they had it closed off and the water was at my waist. Get there early to get a good spot. It has bathrooms and showers to rinse off and change.

We love paddleboarding in Dana point harbor. We launch from baby beach, the sand is very soft and the water is calm. Parking can get a little crowded, but I'd you stay patient, there's always people leaving and you'll get a spot eventually.

Baby beach is absolutely perfect for kids. The water is protected, it's still the Pacific ocean but not the waves, it's calm and fabulous for young families and older people. Parking can be tough on busy weekends. This is a gem in Dana Point.

Great beach for the little ones! Calm waters, parking is close, showers and bathroom very close! Fun for kids to see the boats, kayaker and paddleboards. Nice green grass also for kids to picnic or run around!

Absolutely.
There really isn’t a ramp, but we saw a few canoes out, so I’d say if your good to lug it out go for it
I saw some BBQS crossing the street, and one family with their own bbq.
No overnight parking allowed in public parking lots anywhere in Dana Point Harbor
It is suitable for babies as the area has a net that covers the reaching point allowed to swim. Also the waves and currents are not as strong.
