Had a pleasant move experience. I love interior design of my new home. The hard part is getting everything put away, yikes. I look forward to meeting my neighbors.

I had an issue with a/c and the next day little pests. I submitted a ticket and they responded the next day to take care of both items. Thank you.

On 07/24/21 9am I sat on the balcony to. Have a cup of coffee when me glass door was closed,it locked. I had no way of gaining access back Into my apartment, or getting off the balcony. Thankfully Loraine was coming into work. I yelled over the balcony and told her I was locked out. She used the office key and let me in. Im grateful for the office being open on a Saturday, and for her timely help in the repairs on 07/29/21. Marianne and Loraine try to handle matters as quickly as possible. Kudos to both of them. I hope with the new maintenance crew things can get on track.

Application process is HORRID. Probably easier to apply for and get a job at NASA than an apartment in this community. Due to the “income restrictions” you will have to provide information I felt was very invasive. In hindsight, there are many communities in Woodbridge that are not income based, and have similar or lower rent. Less of a headache when you can apply online and have a decision the same day. After our lease signing (8/18/18) we were met with an apartment that was very obviously not cleaned. Having gone through a move in/move out in an apartment before, we knew there was no way the condition of this unit was acceptable. Our walk through was completed with the property manager and turned in on Tuesday (8/21/18). It took a week before anything was “fixed”, and two weeks before a cleaning crew showed up unannounced to clean. Although our lease was signed, we did not move in until 8/24/18 due to not being comfortable with staying in the filth of the apartment and needing a full day to attempt to clean it. I took it upon myself to clean EVERYTHING. This should have been done prior to us being given keys. I understand moving into a place and touching up a few things to make it yours, however I had to take faucets apart to clean out dirt and mold that was left there as if it were okay. There is no reason anyone paying their money should feel the need to have to completely disinfect a living space prior to moving their family in because the property failed to do so. The vinyl flooring felt disgusting under bare feet and contained several pink spots that looked liked nail polish spills. The carpet had debris left from God only knows what. The washer had what I assume is the last tenants dirt/hair. After moving in, we discovered the extremely loud dishwasher also had a steady leak. The bathroom sink whines when the water is turned off. The smell from the vents when the air kicks on is very musty and is probably due to mold/mildew. The apartment itself has an old smell that we have not been able to get out and it is driving me crazy. There was no caulking at all at the base of the bathtub, and the caulking around the shower faucet is nearly gone. Of our requests, the ONLY thing properly fixed was the leaking dishwasher. The faucets weren’t touched until I cleaned them, however mind you, these need to be replaced! I still feel gross using them. The flooring behind both toilets is coming up. The caulking they put at the base of the tub is a thin strip of who knows what that has come up twice now since they’ve “fixed” it. The straw that broke the camels back and made me write this review to keep others from making the same mistake as we have is last night, 9/13/18, I called the emergency number listed on the resident portal to report a lockout. my key had fallen out of my work bag and I didn’t realize until I got home. First, the number listed is NOT an emergency number. It is the regular office number. You must let the thing ring until you reach a voicemail message that gives an 866 number. I called and followed instructions to leave a message at 8:26 pm with name, phone number and address for the maintenance crew. This recorded message of theirs states TWICE something in reference to lockouts. I waited 30 minutes and did not hear anything back, so I called again and left the same message, this time I got a call within five minutes only to be told “oh we don’t do lockouts” I ask why it’s in the recording, and this idiot says “oh I don’t know.” We’ve let countless things go. Things that could be effecting our health just because we did not want to keep complaining, however when a simple customer service request can not be met, and an incompetent person cannot explain why, all bets are off. We pay $1350 for two bedrooms. There is NOTHING about this community that warrants the price. The only benefit is that it’s 10 minutes from my job. Dont be fooled by the unit you tour. The actual apartments are not well kept and the service you receive once you’re locked in is trash.
