This is a very nice hotel in a fabulous location. Our room was one of the nicest, and had a great view of the water. The style was hip but a bit colorless. The property has a nice gym, restaurant with bar and outdoor sundeck, although it was partially blocked off and plantings needed some attention. Front desk staff were all lovely and helpful. Great all in all. Could use a few tweaks.

Hotel is in a fantastic location - and that's what you're paying for. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Amenities are essentially non-existant. Our shower leaked water under the bathroom door, which had obvious water damage. We weren't able to utilize streaming capabilities in-room because of an IT error that couldn't be fixed. Hummingbird is a mediocre restaurant, but the staff is friendly. The continental breakfast offered was borderline inedible, awful coffee, and we walked away from it. I had high hopes from the reviews, but was ultimately disappointed. Probably won't stay with IHG/Hotel Indigo again.

You can't find a better spot if you're visiting Alexandria's Old Town. Easy walking distance to many excellent restaurants and shops. The waterfront is a delight to stroll, and there is a water taxi available to whisk you away to other realms. The staff here really went the extra mile to make you feel welcome. A truly delightful experience!

This is our second stay at the Hotel Indigo. We had a great time! I recently had knee surgery and the staff was so nice about putting my ice packs in a freezer so that I could ice my knee every day. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom also has a lot of room and the shower is much larger than most. We look forward to being there again!

The hotel is currently offering self parking only in a garage on site for $30, taxes included per night with unlimited in and out privileges. Please check in with the front desk for directions.
Yes there are garages in old Town. Don't remember the price. Just use there valet parking that is what we did. Don't remember the number but it was not outside of normal for the area.
Breakfast is offered in Hummingbird weekdays from 6:30 - 10:30 and brunch on the weekends from 7 until 2 pm.
You can take the Trolley from King St to the metro. DCA is only few stops from King St. Trolley is Free! Good luck.
It's across the river from Gaylord but there is a water taxi that can get you to the Gaylord (close to).
