At this point in time I have booked a stay in one of their suites 30 hours ago and counting, yet still have not received a confirmation email of my booking. In the year 2022, one would expect a basic and essential email touch point would have been sent out already. I called yesterday on 3 separate occasions to get the confirmation email sent to me and their reasoning was that their systems are slow - this is unacceptable for a hotel that charges a premium, and frankly for any business. A confirmation email must be sent if a purchase has been made. Things seem very sketchy with how they have done business so far. Also, if you are booking the Lorien suite, as I did, do not be misled by the photos on their booking page which feature an outside balcony. I was told that you may not may not be afforded a balcony on all Lorien suites, even if there is a picture of such on their direct website.

Ugh, I had such high hopes for this place. I take my dog everywhere and I wanted a dog friendly location walkable to dining. I've already stayed at the Alexandria hotel (sooo lovely) so this seemed like a good 2nd stay. Well, check in staff was friendly and the room was clean and nice (comfy bed), but that's all the good I can say. We asked for more waters at the front desk and an hour later, nothing showed. We asked again. Nothing. It was our anniversary...no one recognized it. We tried to order room service at 9:20...too late. We ordered doordash and they made us come down to the lobby to get it. We were hoping for a romantic getaway and unfortunately this just fell short. Would've rather stayed at home and bought a car service out

Lorien was a beautiful stay for my parents Anniversary Trip! It is in such a perfect location! If you are an AMEX Platinum holder, I highly encourage using your Hotel Collection credit here. It’s definitely worth it! Solomon (apologies if I spelled your name wrong) was extremely helpful and made sure that all details down to the room upgrade, champagne and note, early check-in, etc. were all taken care of for this special occasion! I truly appreciate him and his service!!!

Rooms were OK (ours was oddly shaped), restaurant was closed, no water available. Seems it should have been a better experience
