Went there to fish. The kids fed the ducks there. Saw many people fishing here. Also saw a lot of trash from people that don't know how to clean their own mess. Its a free park with free parking sp cant complain much.

It's at a small lake but our grandchildren love the ducks. We also live close by and ride our jetski on lake Arlington.

This place is so cute! Wish I had known it existed 6yrs ago when I moved to this side of town always went to bowman springs park. The club house looks very modern and sophisticated and fairly good sized to host any type of event. My dog loves the water and at bowman springs there is no where she could get into the water except for the ramps and they are slick with stringy moss. We discovered this park one day and will always use it from now on. Plenary of space to park as well. Good shade from the trees picnic tables and water!! Peaceful!

Beautiful place to watch the sunset! Rental boats, waterskiis, kayaks, pontoon boats are available nearby. Large event hall and picnic areas too. No walking trails but large green space for flying kites, throwing Frisbees and Fishing. Boat ramp requires fee.

Worms is good for the bass
The restrooms are on the east side when you enter the gates. It took me a while to find them. They are very clean
Yes, the pavilions @ Richard Simpson and Bowman Springs are both for rent. It's best to reserve them well ahead of time as they are quite popular.
No swimming allowed. Not even wading is allowed. Besides, the "beach" is made of broken chunks of concrete, so you wouldn't want to.
No sir it's against the law in Texas no matter where you fish. The shell station on Arkansas just before the park sells licence. You can get a day licence for 10 bucks
I’ve seen a lot of folks swimming out at lake Arlington from boats and wading by the shoreline.
I'm not sure I haven't been blessed with my boat yet... Lol
