Park has a few miles of concrete bike trails. Lots of shade trees and picnic tables. Very beautiful place to get in touch with nature.

Lovely little park with paved walkways so it’s bike and stroller friendly. Big open area close to the river, and tons of picnic areas!

Questions & Answers

This park has been closed intermittently lately - like right now. Anyone know why it is often closed during normal hours? It's 6pm on a Thursday of beautiful May weather as I ask this question.

Hello, @Lauralea. I can only presume that because of the recent heavy rains the 2 water crossing areas have overflowed and too dangerous for visitors to try snd cross.

Distance of entire bike trail?

Jeremy Priest | Aug 21, 2018

The trail is 0.7 miles through the woods, plus a small offshoot. The distance from Dottie Lynn to Green Oaks Blvd is 1.8 miles. You can actually go on along the trail on Green Oaks all the way to River Legacy Park, which is much father.
