Great park since highschool and great trail system, for walking, hiking, riding bikes on concrete or dirt trails. Great for family

That is definitely one of the nicer parts in the area. There's so much to see and trails to walk. It's quite enjoyable spending a day out there.

Exceptional park for many activities. It's probably the best one in Arlington. I've seen wedding photography, family gatherings and sports games, and much more. However, at night, it lives up to its "haunted" reputation. Whether anyone believes this or not, I've seen what appeared to be a large ape like creature traveling from tree to tree. It could have very well been a man since illegal bird traps have been found here.

Great place to cycle, jog or walk. Has a few miles so you won't get bored. Just stay away from the trails in the open due to owners not picking up dog feces, it's everywhere next to the sidewalk. Just stick to the trails in the woods.

The bobcats usually mind their business and are really no harm. I've rode past them many times and they keep walking in the direction they were going. I've only seen little small snakes .. nothing huge. Totally safe for kids! 😉
I believe so but call the parks office to be sure
I would not fish in the Trinity River because it's been know to not safe to be in contact to your skin post on the sign for kayaking and it goes through fort Worth and past two city dumps and the the Arlington sewage plan. If looking for good fishing most of the lakes in Texas are a good place to start.
You could probably spot one on one of there long trails. Who knows?
No. No fires are allowed. Grills only. Try places like campsites around Joe Pool lake for campfires.
There's several pedestrian bridges. One at the entrance towards the nature center. The other ones are part of the trails
There's a small pond however I'm NOT sure if it's stocked with anything. The water level varies during the year.. The Trinity is near by but there are no banks or docks for fishing..
Yes
I doubt, there won't be any person working.
I am pretty sure you can fish in the pond by the parks
There is no charge to fish the river, but you will need to have a valid fishing license. https://tpwd.texas.gov/fishboat/boat/paddlingtrails/inland/arlington_riverlegacyparks/ Also, do not eat any fish you catch from the Trinity. It will probably make you sick if you do, as they contain high levels of PCBs. You can see the advisory below: https://dshscpd.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=0d443c1940ba4240923a46dfa08f0289
Sure you can leave still.
It would be good idea to call and ask permission to be on safe side just in case a program going on.
I really don't think you can. There are several bike paths and walking paths in the woods.
With all the hikers in the trails the chance of a stray arrow would definitely be a no im sure.
Maybe around Viridian lake. The path gets close to the water in some spots.
There are places that I've seen people fish. I'm not sure you would want t to eat a y of the fish that come out of there but I do believe you can fish there.
If you go to the park each little pavilion area has a sign next to the walk way up to it with reservation instructions.
No rules, take all the pictures you want.
No.
Haven't seen an area for just dogs, but dogs are welcomed in the park. Normal park rules, on a leash and clean up their poop!
Park has two entrances on green oaks. The bike trails and pavillions are accessed near the live science center near davis and greenoaks and the volley ball smaller walking space is near elzie odom center off green oaks closer to 360. Parking is easy to find both places but the bike trails have much more parking options.
yes
The park can accommodate many parties at once. The office rentals are the pavilions. There are a bunch of picnic tables throughout.
Yes you can
Yes but you have to reserve your spot
Yes you can fish there. I fish it all of the time. There is a small pond by the playground and you can also fish the river in many places but some places aren't manicured very well along the river, making access to the river difficult.
The trails away feom the main park are not lit but the trail around the main park is well lit and is a good distance
Yes, but must of them are portable.
It's open from 5am-10pm with the regular park hours posted in the entrance. It's fun too!
I'd give the staff at the Living Science Center there a call and ask.
