Wonderful clinic. Amazing staff and doctors - everyone was patient, compassionate, and professional. Helped get my dog Baron, who was having cluster seizures, treated and home safe. Clean facility, very calm (which is amazing for an ER) and accessible. If I could give 6 stars, I definitely would.

Highly recommend this vet. I brought my dog in on Sunday 5/22 for a bloated stomach. They took her back right away and started tests. They thoroughly explained the process and charges (which were extremely affordable for an emergency weekend visit). I left my dog in their care for them to run test. And although I didn’t receive the diagnosis I had hoped for and decided to send my baby over the rainbow bridge the experience was peaceful. I was able to spend as much time before hand with my baby and was able to be there while she crossed the rainbow bridge. The vet dr and a staff were all amazing, compassionate, and caring. Thank You Grand Terrace for helping make a dark day a little brighter.

My Rottweiler female ate a stomach full of rocks which caused aspiration pneumonia. She was transferred for the weekend to this Animal Emergency Clinic in Grand Terrace. I had never used them before and am always worried due to past bad experiences with vets. I can only say positive things about my experience. I could call anytime day and night to get an update (they are emergency clinic so you have to take into account that yes they are extremely busy so may have to put you on hold, may take a few minutes to get the chart). The vet was very clear in the plan of treatment and called me when she was ready to be discharged. They kept her a total of 2 nights. I wish I could have gone to see her but I respect that their focus in on their patient. Cost was within the quote range. The staff seemed very experienced and caring. I would use them again and recommend their services.

We normally go to Banning Vet and live in Palm Desert. Our 13.5 year old miniature schnauzer was very very sick. Barely breathing. The staff was professional, kind, and concerned. Nothing worse than an older dog getting dismissed due to age and a heart murmur. This clinic did not dismiss our Molly. Even overnight and she made no progress. We were able to pick up Molly, once she showed improvement and take her to Banning Vet. I was not after overly charged. Emergencies are not cheap, but they were fair. Our Molly would not be here right now if it was not for this hospital. Those who had a negative experience, I’m sorry for your pain. Having a bad attitude around sick animals is beyond selfish. Own your part. Respect goes a long way. Thank you Animal Emergency Clinic.

They don't do that because the state of California considers that felony animal cruelty unless it's an actual life-saving medical procedure
Not 100% sure, but I imagine they should. Call them after 6 pm. They are only open after most other vets are closed. 6:00 pm. To 8:00 am closed one day during the week. Monday I think.
Thank you, Rodney, for answering on the clinic's behalf. We sincerely appreciate your kind words. An estimated weight for a "medium sized" dog would likely be between 21-45#. For that weight range the fee would be $200. If you are interested in having your pet's ashes returned to you there would be an additional fee of $110. We re-open this evening (Tuesday) at 6:00pm. Please call from your car and advise the receptionist of your intentions. We will make every attempt to get you in as quickly as possible however, there is only 1 doctor available until 8:00pm when my second doctor arrives.
We don't take or decline any insurances. As the pet owner, you are responsible for the costs associated with your pet's care. You then submit your invoice and treatment information to your insurance company and your company reimburses you, directly. Our only interaction with the insurance companies is completing their forms and often we will fax or email health information to them.
I apologize for the delay in responding. This email address is not manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The fee for humane euthanasia for your dog would be $165.00. If you would like your pet's ashes to be returned to you there would be an additional fee of $110.00 on top of the $165.00. We are currently closed, reopening at 6:00pm. If this service has not yet been performed, you may consult with a daytime veterinary practice or call us at (909) 825-9350 at 6:00pm from our parking lot at 22085 Commerce Way in Grand Terrace.
Hello. No we do not spay or neuter dogs or cats. We are an ER clinic only. Check with your daytime veterinarian or perhaps they can direct you to spay/neuter clinics.
Hello Natalie. I'm sorry for the delay in responding. Hopefully your dog has already been seen. As an aside, the individual who felt compelled to answer was obviously upset at the loss of her pet. It is important to know that doctor's recommendations of treatment for her dog were declined.
Try Alessandro Animal Hospital
Hello, and thank you for reaching out to Animal Emergency Clinic. We do NOT treat birds. You can try VCA/CVS in Ontario (909) 947-3600 or there are two emergency clinics in Upland that may see birds. I would call first to be sure their Avian Veterinarian is on. (909) 981-2855 or (909) 931-7871.
Hello Jack and thank you for reaching out. We do not perform dental work. We are an emergency clinic only. You may want to speak with your local daytime DVM to schedule a cleaning or, if your pet is experiencing a dental issue, there are canine dentists.
Sorry I don't know, but hopefully this can give you a starting place for general cost ranges: https://emergencyvetsusa.com/average-cost-of-emergency-vet-visits/
Hello Melissa. I'm sorry for the delay in responding to your question. Sudden diet changes can result in dietary upset but "slimy and stringy" are not adjectives that we normally hear. If you are still experiencing a problem with your dog, please have her seen by your daytime veterinarian. If they cannot see your pet in a reasonable time you may bring her here for an exam. The fee is $90 to be seen. Treatments/diagnostics would be in addition to the exam fee. There may be a wait of an hour or more depending upon when you arrive and what cases are ahead of yours'.
I assume you're asking about the fees associated with a C-section? Most breeds range between $1400-$2200. Brachycephalic breeds range from $1600-$2600. Animal Emergency Clinic
We are an emergency clinic and therefore do not perform routine services. Please consult with a local daytime veterinarian for fees and scheduling.
They offer 3 payment plan options at their clinic. Carecredit.com Scratchpay.com and Sunbit Loan
