the blonde woman at the front desk has a power trip and tried to get my partner arrested while i was having a medical emergency in our car after trying to get a sick stray cat some help. i am autistic and physically disabled as well as unable to drive. she and the cop were suspicious of us bc i was struggling to mask my emergency symptoms in public, and when my partner tried to explain the situation more clearly, she ignored him and sicked the cop on him. i am LIVID. if my partner had been arrested for the lowly crime of upsetting this white woman i would have been sick, disabled, in distress, and stranded with two sick animals in my car. HORRIBLY RECKLESS AND DANGEROUS AND INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR. DO NOT GO HERE THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT SAFE AND THEY WILL NOT HELP.

A great shelter! We foster kittens and they make it really simple.

Great staff and volunteer effort made adopting our new dog super easy. So happy with our new boy!

We adopted Floyd about a month ago from the Burbank shelter. Everyone there was just great!!! Our current dog, Lucy, was lonely, indeed. When she met Floyd, it seems they fell magically in love (Not like that) and were soon best of friends. Floyd is now solidly a part of our pack. First photo is Floyd’s front half. Second photo is Floyd’s other end. The third pic is Lucy waiting fo Floyd,. The fourth is Lucy and Floyd on their walk. The last one is, obviously after the walk. Thanking you guys again for getting Lucy a new best friend. 🐾

Whenever any one of us loses our furry friends for some reason or another we can certain donate their items to any animal shelter in the world so that we can help other unfortunate babies who don't have these things as long as they are washed thoroughly there shouldn't be a problem.
I was there last weekend and it seemed really lonely and depressing, a couple of sad dog's and some cat's didn't see anyone interacting with them I don't see why it should be problem other than for insurance purposes. But if you are able to interact with the animals message me.
Right now they are under construction and are only taking towels, blankets and canned pet food. Normally they would take used beds
You will probably have to call them directly, but I don't know why they wouldn't?
Unfortunately not. They will let you have a "meeting" with animals that you are seriously considering adopting. But if you become a volunteer, you get to help out with them!
I am almost certain that they do because as a general rule, these institutions have animals of all sorts of breeds, personalities and sizes. Call them at the number they have here or check their website for more information. I hope you can find the baby of your dreams very soon. Good luck to you.
Contact the shelter to locate a sanctuary that can take them. I fear if you take these animals to a shelter for pets, the poor creatures might be euthanized. Setting them free would be equally bad, especially if they're imprinted by humans. With all the wildfires, the best place for them is a wildlife sanctuary.
I would assume they would. Try giving the shelter a call.
Not really. It's very simply once you locare one you want to adopt
Hi, you have to check there. If its available it will be for adoption.
That's very sad to hear. I'm sure if you look up to the Burbank animal shelter they would take good care of him till his time came. It's a no-kill shelter. But I would give them a call to make sure.
There are outside cages for dogs. You can put your cage in there and either leave a note how to return your cage, or a phone message, or both!
A dog should not be given a service vest without undergoing the proper training. Once the training is completed, the training agency should provide a vest.
Yes, but we do have a play area where the staff can take the dog for you to view. But you must be a volunteer or staff member to walk the dogs.
You can call and ask, but you should just go down there
Hi. To see the dogs we have available for adoption, visit our website at BurbankAnimalShelter.org and click on Dogs for Adoption on the left.
Burbank residents can relinquish their pets to the Burbank Animal Shelter.
Probably. Give them a call.
Hi Rocio, you can call , they are open till 5pm
You can volunteer, but you need to be enrolled, do practice and be accepted. Take a look on the website.
They have volunteers everyday working there. They are just closed for normal services.
I know they have dogs, cats, rabbits. I'm not sure about a bird, contact them. there's also Pasadena humane society you can try you can try in case they don't take your baby bird.
Give them a call tomorrow morning after 10. Google for their number.
Yes they will take them if in good condition
There's a truck inside. There's usually people from the shelter there that will be able to help you.
Ola martina you only need your identification and proof of income to verify if you live where animals are accepted
Please, call to be sure.
You can call for details.
call them and ask
You have to be 18 years old to volunteer.
You can get a trap from the shelter. They will come and pick it up when full.
I would think they would appreciate any volunteer help. Dont think they will get paid but as a volunteer i dont see why not.
I am not sure but if the animal is there to long they really have no choice but to put it down.
You have to go there all the time they get dogs in every day and they go through dogs like crazy. They only had pits last time i was there.
No
Call the shelter directly..... please!
Yes. Please call the location for application and processing
If they are not able to accept them there is also Best Freinds animal shelter. They are a no kill shelter that can always use donations!
The animal population at the shelters changes daily. You can search on their website. For a broader search online, try Petfinder.
You would need to call directly and find out from the shelter if they have any for adoption!
No
I don't know if they have them but I think you can get them online through the LA city shelter website. Just make sure to submit it to the shelter that covers your city (if needed).
The Burbank Animal Shelter has 50% off adoption during many holidays. I'd check there. It's not free, but great help and treatment
Try calling the shelter directly. The last time I was there they were pretty empty. They had some animals that had been there for months.
I have a lab mix puppy for free comes with everything
You can trap them then call Animal Control. They will pick them up and take them up in the hills and let them go.
Hi Marco u can call animal shelters and ask for advice and help
Well if you loved em how i loved all my past pets, call a pet crematorium and get their ashes back.
There is a pond with turtles who need homes, mostly sliders. They are listed on the shelter's website when you search for adoptable animals
I saw a cat clinic and they had some dogs that were in a quarantine area. But no clinic that I saw. Try Best Friends in Mission Hills on Brand
You can find adoption fees and details listed on the website.
Yes, and they have a kitten fair every third saturday.
Closed on Mondays
Try calling the business and talking to them. They keep that stuff on file, they can probably work it out.
You must be at least 18 years old. Go inside and inquire. They definitely need volunteers willing to work with rabbits, dogs and cats.
Buy a trap cage from Amazon or Walmart.
