My father in law recieved care at this hospital after suffering a severe heart attack. The staff were so committed, so respectful and SO compassionate. From the girl at the front giving us name tags, to the ICU physician who took the time to call me every day and update me, everyone was amazing. Unfortunately, despite much dedication and effort, my father in law passed away. The nurses have been so kind. People don't understand how far a compassionate tone can go when you're in agony. I couldn't have handpicked a better care team. I will always be thankful for this hospital and for what they have done for my family during such a devastating time. Thank you, truly.

Was here from out of town and very sick. They wanted me to wear their special masks that I'm allergic to. I was sick and feverish with strep throat and unable to get in anywhere. The atmosphere was a bunch of sad old people seeming like impending death. The person at the front desk was extremely unreasonable and said I have issues. I said yes I do, that's why I'm at the hospital. I understand rules but when you are sick with asthma, bronchitis, and need a strep test, respiratory is kind of an issue. I was willing to leave and go get masks that I can handle and they said they will not help me unless I wear one of the ones that cause me severe problems. I've never had to show a medical person what's in those masks. And when you can't read it because there's no English on it? A bit unsafe.I had already been a few places and the second I put on their masks I would start having a major cough attack. They made a bad day 10 times worse and do not ever go there. They do not care if you die. I asked her straight up what would happen if I had anaphylaxis and she said, well I'm at a hospital. So fix me and put that back on? Ok...I think every place made a judgement because my ID says Alaska on it. That was always when I started getting treated badly. Maybe they can learn something from a better state. I cannot wait to go home and in the meantime I plead the blood of Jesus over this commie ridden state. I pray these people see the light. They are hypnotized and I'm very sad for them. Medical sure isn't what it used to be. I will say I went to Best Med in Eugene and they were amazing. Got me in even though full and treated me with kindness and respect like back home. Still wore a mask but was able to find some hypoallergenic ones. That lady they put at the front to yell politics at people instead of doing her job? No. Never again. She had short brown hair. I wish I had taken a video ot gotten names at least.

PeaceHealth is a massive institution that serves a ton of people. As such, they don't have time to help you. If you have a doctor here, don't expect them to actually care about your well being or get to know you on a personal level, they simply don't have time for that This is a place you go to get a doctor to sign off on your medications and nothing more. Don't expect them to actually care or follow up. This isn't House - they aren't interested in solving your medical issues because it's an interesting challenge - they just need to get you out the door in time for the next patient to arrive

You can only try to make the best of things when you have to spend time at the hospital. Overall the staff there are exceptional. There are some very good, experienced Nurses & Dr.s.. However, they tell you something that either doesn't happen or takes days to accomplish. 3 different times I was told something needed to happen before I could go home. 3 times those things did not happen. I was waiting for a total of 6 days for 3 different things to occur. 1 of them was accomplished only after raising a big deal about it.

If you are qualified, you may be able to stay at the guest house. Ask your patient's RN to contact social worker for guest house eligibility and availability. There are also multiple hotels near by with discount just let the front desk know that your relative stays at Riverbend.
That usually depends on the requirements of your insurance provider.
Main Entrance Lobby, use public elevators go to 5th floor
I see it often.
There is a parking garage under the hospital that has you take an elevator to the main lobby.
There good people there
No, c.Rich the surgery waiting room is NOT open.
Because of HIPAA privacy laws hospitals can't give out information unless the patient has authorized someone to receive it. I hope your friend is doing well.
Unsure of the exact number. They are isolated on a specific floor.
You could also request them in your Mypeacehealth online
Contact the surgical department or switchboard if you know what department they are being treated under, however they may not be able to provide information due to HIPA restrictions
Its like a cold or flu, its best not to touch your face and wash your hands. Its more helpful for those suffering from illness to wear a mask and stay home as much as possible. That is what really cuts down on the rate of infection.
No, but the provider will order pain medication and other medication that you use at home. Please bring the list of up to date medications.
It is best to park in the under parking. They really monitor the heart and vascular parking lot and if you do not have an appointment there you're not allowed to park there.
Anytime besides 7-8 am and 7-8 pm when the nurses are changing shift.
There are dozens of departments at that hospital. I'm pretty sure you'll have to call a specific department to see if they answer an email account.
I recommend having her check with her attending nurses. If they do not have someone on retainer, her admitting doctor may have to prescribe it to get it covered by insurance if you go to an outside source.
Yes. They can accommodate most of the larger rvs. Only have electricity.
