Fun, interesting small place. Food was terrific! I had the hand breaded Chicken Fried Steak it was way up there with "one of the best" I've ever had. It included 2 sides for which I chose a biscuit X2...(instead of pancakes, toast, potatoes or fruit) they came out with 2 GIANT homade biscuits and grilled to boot with plenty of butter. We were just traveling through towards Bend Oregon and stopped in... Don't pass it up when you're anywhere near.

O...M...G!!! Literally heaven in my mouth. Where do I begin lol. Okay, so my husband had mentioned this place before but I forgot about it. So yesterday we wanted to eat out but I'm so indecisive when it comes to food that I told my husband to pick. I remember throwing out a suggestion and he told me to just sit back and enjoy the ride as he already had a place in mind. He pulls in and I see Flashback Grill and then remembered this was a place we wanted to try. I had no expectations as I didn't know what to expect.... The food here, there is no word to describe it that would give it justice, it's that good!! Best breakfast food I have EVER had and if you haven't ate here, your taste buds are missing out. French Toast is my favorite, Pancakes I'd say are second. I like to think I've tried a variety of French Toast but Flashback Grill has set the bar, like this is the only breakfast I want to eat. This review is long, so Imma just cut to the chase. Eat here, and you will see for yourself why my review is so long and why I'm at a loss for words to describe the heaven I ate yesterday. Take yourself, wife, husband, kids, the whole family, whoever; JUST GO AlREADY!! What we ordered: French Toast Dippers: batter-dipped and rolled in sweet crunchy cereal, deep fried and served with maple whipped cream. King of the Road (omlette): loaded with diced bacon, tomato, onions, avocado, and Swiss cheese. Side of home fries, homemade biscuit, and a side of gravy. Bubba's French Toast: two slices of peanut Bubba crunch French Toast topped with a special peanut butter topping and whipped cream. Added a side of hasbrowns, 2 over easy eggs, and four slices of bacon. Update*** Went back for the second time with my husband and FIL and I had the Stuffed French Toast-filled with cream cheese and strawberry preserves and topped with powdered sugar and whipped cream. I also had two over easy eggs and 4 strips of bacon.

We've been coming to Flashback Grill for a few years and it has always been great. The staff does an A+ job, friendly, attentive. The restaurant is always clean, and decor is fun. The last couple times we've been in the food has been so disappointing. I got a club sandwich, unfortunately the turkey was all one solid piece of fat, which was very strange, must have been the "end" part of the deli turkey breast. My wife got chicken fried steak which had a soggy under(not browned) fried crust and the gravy was flavorless beyond some pepper. Another visit my wife got the "living on the edge" burger, usually that's my favorite. It was Saturday 4/16 at around 11 am. She said the burger was lukewarm, flavorless, jalapenos seemed like they had been fried, then reheated. Her words were "it seemed like it had been prepared earlier, and had been sitting around since before we came in". A year ago Flashback Grill was one of our favorite places to go, what happened!? Sorry for the novel. We really want to love Flashback Grill again!

The best chicken fried steak we've had in years! Homemade mashed potatoes, gravy and really fresh veggies. We topped them of with yummy pie! Great service too! I'd weigh 600 pounds if I lived near here from the looks of the burgers, French dips, and fish and chips we saw served. Can't recommend enough.
