I’ve been trying to help a friend secure an apartment and what a joke this place is. The application process is ridiculous. You are told to call everyday to check for vacancies, and if they have one it’s FCFS. That’s fine, but when you rush down there within less than an hour and the unit has been filled that’s just absurd. You’d have to camp out there all night to have a chance.

We love living here, the apartments are nice, and you have everything you need washer dryer etc. I do have a couple complaints The dumpsters I have never seen such lazy people they throw all their trash in the first dumpster and when its full then on the ground it go's ai have to move trash bags so that I can get to the back dumpster that is usually still have plenty of room, get some cameras and start fining this people for throwing boxes that are not broke down and take up half the dumpster and for furniture and garbage on the ground also. My other complaint are the people above us They bang on things and when they walk around it sounds like they are wearing 50lb shoes, they are very noisy and do not seem to have any concern for their neighbors, unfortunately most the time they only noisy after 8am and before 10pm. This is still a nice and affordable place to live, and I also give all the staff 5 stars for being friendly and courteous and doing the best they can during these trying times. Thank you

Listen to the reviews when they say management is absolutely terrible. I wasted a ton of time trying to work with these people, more than half the time they never answered the phone when I called, and that is a big red flag when applying for apartments. This place has new employees working there all the time. Don't apply here unless you want to get your time wasted. They only accept people that make a very VERY specific amount of income per month. I cannot stress enough that copper river rental complexes waste people's time bringing people in over and over again to fill out paperwork.

I have had a hold on this unit since this building was being built. When I moved in, during October 2017, there were only 2 buildings and none behind the back fence. I miss that view. The other side of this complex was still being built then. I've been here since. It's my first apartment and I have now two small dogs as well. Unit came with ample space, washer/dryer, kitchen appliances and air conditioning. Kids scream and run around or ride bikes and play on the playground. It can be loud and that's what they do. I don't have kids but I do appreciate the majority of them asking to pet my dogs. Everything is great and most of my neighbors are awesome. Now there is a full complex. Many people own dogs of all sizes. Here is my issue. Not everyone picks up after their dogs. I don't get how the kids can run barefoot in the grass. There are two stations now, with bags and trashcan on each side. It has gotten better. And honestly, our dumpsters are the worst of them all, people don't care to walk to the back dumpster and throw trash on the ground. So I feel for the maintenance staff and I get that's how people are these days. Maintenance works hard. Their supervisor is nice and great at his job. There's is a high turnover rate of office staff. It happens everywhere. Most people don't think of the implications of dealing with hundreds of apartment units and the...culture? (people/families) of it. The current staff in the office is amazing. Their work is never ending. - Alycia

Based on 2017-50% income limit for one resident it is 23,000. For two it is 26,300
It’s an affordable housing apartment complex
the minimum is 2 times the rent. Rent for a 1 bedroom is currently $730, and 2 bedrooms are $875. The max for 2 people is $34,440.00 per year gross income.
No they seem to be deep enough for what a sink is used for
Do you have any vacancies
Mail is determine by the post office, but its usually around 2 pm with the regular mailman
No, we are an affordable community, not low income and we do take section 8 housing vouchers.
If you give us a call or stop by, we would be more than happy to go over our income and rental criteria with you! Our number is 509-326-0700
Water, Sewer and Garbage are included in the rent amount, you would be responsible for electric and any other utilities like internet etc.
Yes, we do allow pets as well as service and companion animals!
The best thing to do would be to call the office, they would have all that information on hand.
No, the lowest rent is $675.
Absolutely - we have 2 approval processes first is credit, criminal, rental and to make sure you make enough to support paying the rent. 2nd is a requirement to make sure that the household does not make more than the MAX income allowed. We are a Tax Credit property and have restrictions as outlined by Washington State Finance Commission. All households but satisfy both steps to be actually approved. The first one is a "conditional approval". Hope that helps.
Try copper landing, they are great work working with people and they are actually willing to help you. The credit isn't the biggest issue as long as you don't owe any utilities, haven't filed bankruptcy in a year (been discharged for a year or more) and that you don't have a criminal record. Copper landing has the best staff.
One bedrooms, all floors
Keep in mind...this can change. Rent prices go up. You must make double the rent price. But you cant make over $27,000 per year (single person)
Emotional support animals are allowed at all housing complexes, regardless of housing rules or breeds.
I live here at Copper River with a voucher from Spokane Housing Authority.
