I visited this gym on a Thursday night, I was on a business trip and joined via a $15 day pass. I waited a few weeks to post this review, I travel a lot and always workout, so I see a lot of gyms. This one was very conflicting for me, so I let it stew for a bit. Gotta say the gyms in Spokane close EARLY, that's what drove me north to this gym. I was happy to find one open, and I wasn't working out that late. The staff here were friendly, but the guest pass took a bit longer than normal to go through. The usual mix of supplements and protein are available up front. The men's locker room was crusty, it felt like an afterthought and dirty. No built in locks so if you're like me and didn't have a lock, you're SOL. The layout of the gym itself is two floors and reminds me of a fitness club I went to in the 90's; it features chunky rooms of equipment with an overhead walkway. It's strange to see something like this today. I'm a bodybuilder and I did my cardio in the morning, so my review is entirely of weight equipment and the workout around it. The equipment is a mix of machines with a number of Hoist Roc-its, which are novel and do the trick. Pads throughout the facility are starting to show their wear, cracked with some needing replacement. Definitely some maintenance needed. It has a wall squat rack room with bumpers and a regular squat cage. There are some unique pieces of equipment, the oblique rocker is awesome and the standing calf roc-it was a nice surprise with a good calf pump. A few weeks later the biggest impression I'm left with was that it's dirty and the place just isn't being maintained. That's a killer in the long run, when I join a gym I'm investing in a place for years. It has to be maintained. But, here's the conflict, half the gym is the people that workout there. And there seemed to be a good group working out, that automatically gives this place 1 star. The equipment itself is solid and if I lived in Spokane this might be my gym. I'm comparing it to gyms across the world, and that's why it gets 2 stars. If you live in Spokane compare it to the others in your area. After all, it was open when I needed a workout and most of the others were closed.

I wouldn't go anywhere else. They keep it really nice and clean. There's a huge parking lot. Wonderful staff. I mean, every place has certain problems, but this is really a great gym.

Huge gym but doesn't feel like a warehouse. Everyone is super nice and helpful. I never feel pressured into purchasing sessions or products. I always feel comfortable here. Great place to get your workout in

The gym itself is cool… but upon signing up I wasn’t informed of the annual fee, or when it would be due for that matter. So when I was randomly charged about $30… as a broke college student just trying to self-improve I was not happy. Life changed around and I joined a new gym. I called the fitness center to ask if I had to come in to cancel my membership, and they said yes. I leave town for spring break, come back, and go to cancel my membership, when I am informed that there is a 30 day notice requirement and that I would have to pay for the month of April as well… But why did nobody tell me that when I called asking about cancellation? I feel that the staff should be more informed on what information they need to be sharing with clients.

Yes there is childcare! At the North Club it is 8AM-12PM Monday through Friday, 3PM-8PM Monday through Thursday, and 3PM-7PM on Friday!
Not sure if you can get a one time pass but if you go in and tell them that you want to try it out to check out their facility I think they'll let u for like an hour. Don't quote me on that though because I don't work there lol

Warm enough fir my toddlers to swim. There is a strict pool schedule. Call them for info.
Yeah, I would say from like 6-11 and a few hours in the afternoon it's occupied. Mid day, it's usually free in my experience
No you should be able to get right in however north Spokane fitness closes at 9pm on Saturdays and Sundays
Yes a great one!
Sorry. It's a members-only gym. If you know someone who's a member you can come as a visitor (I think they charge $5 for that), but that's it.
It usually feels warm and perfect to me.
