I left my backpack in the parking lot by accident, came back 30 minutes later when I realized I’d left it and it was gone. Beautiful spot otherwise

Great spot to tidepool at negative tides. Can get busy on weekends or when hot. Ramp goes all the way down to the sand if someone needs access.

The Pistol River viewpoint was a great little spot to stop and enjoy the scenery. We went on the day after valentines day and it was pretty empty of people. There was however an abundance of sea gulls looking cute on the sand. Nothing really negative to say about this location. Although I can say, be careful out on the sand bar... we were walking around not really paying attention and a large wave came over the top of the bar and got us good. Overall we just laughed it up and kept on enjoying the location albeit with wet feet.
