The apartments themselves are okay. The onsite managers are very kind. However, the woman who speaks on behalf of Harlan Douglass is truly a soulless, pathetic, small person. She will charge you a full months rent if you turn your keys in even a day late, even when there is no one at the office the last 3 weekdays of the month. It’s almost like they make it impossible for you to turn your key in on time, so they can get away with charging you a huge fee on a technicality. They will also try to charge you for any missing items, even if they were missing from your apartment when you moved in (and when they’re very clearly stored away in the storage facility on site). You will not find any humanity from these people. Be careful.

Avoid this place! This used to be a fantastic place but it has downward spiraled ever since Douglas Properties employed a new landlady. This property has lost its pristine appearance and welcoming presence. Despite this Douglas Properties is assessing new and extra fees onto tenants rent. $40 Extra per month for the following... 1. Waste Management 2. Water Attached are pictures of how garbage is 'managed' in February, March and April of this year. This is a common sight and has been brought to the attention of management without any resolution. Garbage will overflow and sit for days. This attracts both insects and rodents more than it normally would have. In consideration of this, with the photographs as evidence, is the extra waste management fee really justifiable? In general there is a noticeable lack of care and professionalism. The most recent issue occurred on May 13, 2019. Tenants were given notification for pressure washing the apartments that was to take place on May 17th. It advised us to move furniture and ensure that our windows were closed. However the pressure washing started on May 15th without any warning whatsoever. The pressure washing went on for upwards of two hours. The workers caused damage to some tenants living spaces and furniture on their balconies. One individual had a clock and phone charger near a window short out. It's a miracle that it did not catch fire. The previous landlady was meticulous and genuinely cared about the state of these apartments. We never had overflowing waste for days on end. Services to the apartments and grounds were more suitably performed and on a more frequent basis. The new management is unconcerned and Douglas Properties seems indifferent despite appearances otherwise. Attempting to communicate with management is something tenants are wary of for fear of retaliation. Edit: 7/26/19 Within the last couple of months the pictures that were attached were removed without notice. Note that these pictures do not violate any terms under Google's review system. These could have only been wrongfully flagged by an individual with a false claim.

Terrible costumer service raised their voices and then hung up on my wife most rude careless employees. Do not recommend renting from here I wish there was a rating lower than 1 star.

Very nice apartments, well maintained units and grounds, quiet and clean. I have had a couple repairs done (normal wear issues) and they were done promptly and followed by a call from the apartment manager to ensure I was satisfied with the repairs. The apartment manager (Pat) is fantastic! Very professional and pleasant to work with. Lisa B.
