I have had the pleasure of working at North Star since 2015 in a handful of different departments. It is a warm, active environment where residents can build relationships together and enjoy each other's company while pursuing their interests. The staff all deeply care for the residents, and we all work together to provide top notch care and amenities. I want my loved ones to live here when the time comes!

This retirement facility is 5 Star. My mother has been there only one month and she is like a “new” person. She loves the apartment, the staff, the food and the other residents. She is the happiest that we as a family have seen her in years. No more seclusion in her own home. I highly recommend this facility for your senior parents.

I highly recommend North Star. My family members have benefited from the independent living combined with the additional availability of a restaurant, housekeeping, on-site medical appointments and security North Star offers. The staff truly cares and goes above and beyond to assist residents and their families. Pets are also allowed, which was a big bonus.

There is no harder task than finding the right retirement community for your loved one. Fortunately, I found my 92 year old mother the most beautiful retirement community in Coeur d’alene, Idaho, North Star. It is so different from the places I've seen before. It is impeccably clean, the common areas inside are well appointed and welcoming. It has well maintained grounds where the residents can walk around and feel completely safe. The staff is beyond incredible. They know all the resident’s names (which is a feat in itself) as well as family members. They are so loving, kind and accommodating. They serve 3 delicious meals a day with several choices for each meal. I have not had the chance to meet the Activity Director, but I am so impressed by the monthly calendar provided to each resident with many activities each and every day. My mother has settled in (it’s been 3 months) and is proud to call North Star her home. I am so grateful each and everyday that she has embraced this beautiful facility, staff and residents. Thank you to all the incredible staff at North Star!
