Very sad to see Angelo's going down hill. We first went here in 2018 and subsequent visits always were fantastic. Freshly made pasta, delicious food and fabulous service. This time, it was like being in Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. The pasta is now "imported", the food is mediocre at best, and the waiter needed to be waved over because she would not stop by to ask how things were. Telling her something tasted weird was not enough to offer fixing the problem or offering an alternative. The once delicious and fresh tiramisu is now deep frozen causing the ricotta to become curdled. The check arrived in a check presenter that was falling apart with a crookedly cut out note attached with scotch tape that looked like it had been applied by a toddler. The confusing note read that the check would be subject to a cash discount, but upon inquiry we were informed that the amount on the check was the cash price and payment via credit card would incur an additional fee. This rounded off our impression about the business practice and lack of attention to detail we experienced throughout our meal. This used to be a great place, what an embarrassing disappointment it has become. I used to recommend this place, now I will recommend avoiding Angelo's.

Fancy, traditional Italian. We started with the Bruschetta, then I got the chicken parmesan and my husband had the carbonara. Everything was delicious! We went early on A Friday night because we didn't have a reservation and we were able to get seated, but our server said they are usually packed and reservations are highly recommended. We had great service! It was so much food, we had our leftovers wrapped up and ordered dessert to go. This is a great special date night kinda place.

The food was amazing! Angelo and his team showed up to our black-tie event extremely well dressed and ready to serve. They were punctual and extremely helpful. Angelo was very helpful in creating my menu and worked with me to accommodate my budget. I cannot say enough good things about the restaurant or their catering service!

Slloooww service. We waited at least 10-15 minutes before our waitress showed up to our table. We were there a couple of hours and saw very little turn over of tables. Maybe that’s just how they roll, I don’t know. This is a small restaurant and it’s cramped inside. It was also VERY hot during a heat wave. We were literally sweating, and it was terribly uncomfortable. We and our friends each ordered the meal deal with consists of two of the starred (*) entrees and one bottle of starred (*) wine. The merlot wine we opted for was passable at best. Bread came complimentary and it wasn’t anything special. The salads were a decent size and had homemade dressing which is always appreciated. My spouse ordered the Pasta Carbonara which was a large serving. It was creamy with plenty of sauce and bacon-y flavor. Our friend ordered the Buccatini d’Angelo with added chicken which he said was pretty good. Two of us ordered the Blackened Salmon. The sides were broccolini, a potato cake, and carrots which were tasty. The salmon … wow … very, very spicy. I mean nose dripping, mouth on fire spicy. I like spicy food but this was too much. In retrospect, we should have sent it back to the kitchen but we were starving by the time the food arrived. The heat inside and the heat on the salmon left us feeling let down. Not necessarily fair to the restaurant, but that’s how we felt.
