We were looking for a place for my mother. Jackie was very helpful and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure my mom could stay there. The staff seem to enjoy working there and the people they care for. It was clean, bright, cheery and the outside grounds are beautiful as well. We ended up choosing a different place only because the facility type was more suited to my mom. Renaissance was our first choice for cottage style assisted living, hands down.

Our loved one moved into a Renaissance Assisted Living cottage in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho last month. The facility is working hard at meeting the specific and somewhat 'outside the box' needs of our family member, and he tells us almost daily he is happy there. He says the food is good, he is feeling comfortable and making friends with his cottage mates! The staff have gone out of their way to be friendly and caring, and the services offered, like the on-site medical care are such a help to us. Everyone from the top down has gone out of their way to turn what, essentially, is an extremely difficult decision within any family, into a very positive, manageable, and smooth transition. We are truly grateful to have found this particular Care community and look forward to a long and satisfying relationship. Highly recommend!

My husband was placed in Renaissance for care due to his advanced Parkinson’s Disease. His care was absolutely horrible. The help there was very limited. He was kept in his room most of the time. The problem was mostly due to lack of communication between management and staff and very limited care. Only one person on duty at night and a floater. Also there were untruths told about my husbands condition causing stronger medication that kept him in a zombie state. He also lost over 10 lbs in the 9 days he was there. I brought him back home. The care centers in this area do not have the care takers needed to properly care for ill people and they are under paid!

Every single staff member I have met at Renaissance has been nothing but kind and helpful to my mom in the 10 weeks she has been here: the people in the office, the caregivers in mom's house, and the chefs, too! When any of the staff walks up to my mom, mom is always so pleased to see them. She is always in good spirits in this place. I am forever grateful for the care she has been given since being here. It has taken a huge load of guilt off me to see and hear how kind everyone is to mom, and how well she is taken care of. You all have my undying gratitude! xoxo
