My partner was taken to the ER two days ago after experiencing symptoms of cold skin with profuse sweating, gray/white skin color, intense chest pain, rapid pulse and low blood pressure after vigorous exercise. After taking first aid steps to lay him down, cover him up and elevate his feet his color started to return very slowly, we then took him to the hospital and they refused to allow me in with him even after we told them he is incoherent and confused. He is also autistic and I am his caretaker. They would not allow me because Dakota and myself had be diagnosed with covid 10 days prior. His mother was also not allowed because she drove us therefore was "exposed" even though we had both taken the paxlovid antivirals and had finished quarantine and we were wearing masks. He was left in the waiting room alone for over an hour, still in pain, experiencing other symptoms and scared. He had to repeat what he could vaugley remember to 5 different people. He was sent home after two tests, still in pain with out knowing what happened, if he'd see any side effects or if he needed to take any precautions . He is still experiencing symptoms and is still in pain with pressure in his chest, his heart rate spikes easily now and his resting heart rate has not returned to his normal either. His discharge papers said his diagnosis was covid and trouble breathing, and also stated that he was brought in due to a cough. He was not coughing and he was not struggling to breath, he was struggling to control his heart and he had intense chest pain around his heart. We were left in the dark to speculate and worry about his health. We are very disappointed with the lack of care shown towards his condition and the lack of communication, all in all its absolutely unacceptable and dangerous.

My first visit to the new hospital was terrible, and it was just for lab work. They flat-out were not ready for covid protocols. A year into the pandemic, and still not able to establish an orderly flow for the patient.

We have been waiting in the emergency room waiting area for hours. I dont think I've ever had an experience quite as poor as this. When people are sick and in pain, this is not the treatment they deserve.

I have nothing but good things to say in regards to my husband's stay at this hospital recently. The Nurses and CNA's went above and beyond when treating my husband. They made sure that he was comfortable during his last days.... they were incredibly kind to both of us.... even bringing in a snack cart for me while I was at my husband's bedside. My sweet husband died peacefully - surrounded by love. These hardworking people don't get enough credit for the difficult work that they do - day in & day out. I will forever be thankful to them all... 💕

For urgent orders not routine unless you have a good reason for needing it done on the weekend because of limited staff. Routine work M-F 0700 to 5 pm no appointments necessary.

I've been there twice now on the last month and the first time I was asked for insurance. Since I don't have insurance they provided me paperwork for OHP state insurance because I have no current income and am currently in my car. Basically homeless. And no mention of money at that time. My second visit they asked for $100 and wad satisfied with billing me and once the OHP I'd approved that the bill should be back dated and taken care of. Im not sure if that answers your question but that'd the best I've got for information. Good luck and stay safe.
