The line for the kiosk was about half the distance from the main entry doors and the kiosk itself and it took 30 minutes to get through. There was an employee assisting customers with the kiosk to help speed up the line. I had no problems renewing even having emissions done immediately prior to arriving at the DMV.

Most people dread going to the motor vehicle office! To my surprise it was a very pleasant experience I was in and out no longer than 15 minutes. The new Express kiosk to renew your tags is very convenient and easy-to-use. Provided you don't need an emissions test done. Good luck and I hope you all have a pleasant experience🚗🚙

You just need your renewal postcard or your license plate number, and a payment method. This kiosk accepts credit / debit cards, cash and checks.
I would guess it's only for Colorado plates but I don't know
