Sometimes a night out is just what is needed on a Monday... meet a friend, have a few "small plates", a glass of wine, a little treat & a great conversation! This was that sometime... Glass - Wine Bar Kitchen at Ledges Hotel has the perfect setting to sit outside, overlook the waterfalls & enjoy great company... what more could a girl ask for? Emma, our server was excellent too! Unique and delicious small plates | gorgeous setting | great service - WELL DONE!

My expectations are always tempered in areas that are driven by tourism, especially when the early spring, in this area, is probably one of the slowest times…. First off this place is epic, service was prompt and professional and the setting is out of this world in regards to how the design of the restaurant frames the surrounding scenery so perfectly. It was raining off and on and the flow of the waterfall was absolutely stunning! The terraced seating areas and the old mill give this place old world charm in a modern, almost European setting. Spot on guys…… The pandemic has not been kind to the restaurant industry overall, supply chain issues, inflation keeping potential patrons in the kitchen and so on. With that said Ive experienced innovation and creativity, while dining out, to insure customers have a great experience overall. My excitement was high after being seated, ordered some drinks and we looked over the menu. We ordered an app and two meals off the “spring menu”. I am not going to beat this establishment up but at a high level I will say the items ordered were very uninspired and in direct contrast with the amazingly beautiful setting. Overall I felt as if I was eating bar food thinly masked as restaurant fare…. Taste wise the food was ok, breads were stale and the presentation ran very short…. My advice guys, look at other establishments who have successfully adjusted to this “new norm” and adjust accordingly….

One of my fiance and I's favorite local spots, we visited on our anniversary last year and everything was amazing, food, service and the veiw alone makes the experience one of a kind, we can't wait to come back again on our anniversary this year!!

Ledges Hotel is a nice place to stay at if seeking a quiet or romantic getaway. The view is lovely by the water fall regardless of the different seasons. I have stayed here a few times but my recent visit left me a little disappointed because the Glass restaurant was amazing, however, their menu has changed and the food was no where how it used to be, which was worth a thousand stars. Nice employees and respectful. I had the sliders and they were alright nothing special about it, I felt I could get the same from a TGIF. Had the papa's brave, it was just potatoes with ranch and some tomato paste on top, and 1 egg came side by side on a mini cast iron pan and because it was so hot the egg over cooked. The 12 oz ny strip steak did taste good, but the plate it was set on was not ideal as it made the steak cold. Also, tried the BLT lettuce wraps and it was good but the tomato paste again was not good, and only took away from its potential. So in all I would stay at the Ledge but I would step out to other restaurants in town. For restaurants off-site I recommend The Ridge Restaurant.
