I tried Pep Boys in Everett a few times. Mostly poor experiences. First I purchased a 3 year 36,000 mile alignment. 4-5 time over the ensuing 2.5 years and 35,000 miles I asked that the alignment be check. Each time I was told alignment was fine. But no printout. (I got the sense they did not even both checking) Finally I went to a different Pep Boys and just had then do an alignment. Always very very slow. I went back for one last time yesterday. I had 4 tires to be installed. I had an 8:00AM appointment. I showed up at 7:55AM. Checked in. My car did not go into the shop until 9:05AM. Was not finished until 10:25AM. It was a simple mount and balance. (Alignment was already done last week) with no other work. Caused me to have to cancel a 10:30 appointment. A total disaster. I am officially 100% done with Pep Boys. Do not go here unless you want not so great service and work not done within a reasonable amount of time.

While the staff here was accommodating and friendly for the most part, the remainder of my experience at this location was very Poor. I waited 3-3.5 hours for 4 new tires to be mounted on my Honda HRV. Granted I did walk in without an appointment, but I know for a fact a tire job doesn’t take anywhere near this long normally. There were also hardly any cars on the lifts since this was much later in the day. We finally took off with my new tires and everything seemed perfectly fine, until we got up to highway speed. My car started to vibrate fairly violently when getting up to 65+ mph. I brought my car into a local trusted tire shop today (which I have been going to for years) and it was revealed that these tires were not balanced or weighted whatsoever. Very old weights were found on my rims. My invoice even said this process was done when it was not. I am very displeased with the lack of professionalism and honesty in the work I had done here. There is no excuse to skip out on this process while having new tires mounted. Everybody please do yourselves a favor and take your business elsewhere! I will not be returning to Pep Boys.

I'm here chill from 8:16AM and the car hasn't even been lifted just to change a tire, I don't get it, not looking for anything else done... No more then a half hour right to change it, the car is just sitting there... if you guys don't have 245/40 19 in shocked, at least say that... So I feel OK, of understanding that and be more ok of waiting around... It helps a lot of us, waiting around for hours... and nothing is said, sitting around for just a changed tire... I can't go anywhere...

I had the pleasure of coming into the store other day. Jenni and Greg helped me order tires and get them installed. The store closed at 6pm and I thought I had missed the time to pick up my car. Greg called me around 7 to let me know that he was still at the store and I was still able to pick up the car. Both of these employees were very nice and friendly. They listened to me ramble on and on. I appreciate their kindness. I would recommend sending anyone in to get their tires.
