My wife and I had to put our beloved Missy down on December 20th after 16 years, and the empty feeling we had in our house and lives was unbearable 💔. The little man is just what the Doctor ordered, we love him to death.

This used to be the best shelter in the greater Boston area. Not so much anymore. They are understaffed, despite a 1 year waiting list for volunteers (?), always irritable, and the only way to get a decent dog from there is to be on the premises when the truck pulls up delivering them. First one to hand them the check takes the dog home.

No, no appointments are necessary. If there is a specific dog you saw online that you are interested in I would call and let them know in case that dog is pending adoption or not available to be seen that day (medical reason like being neutered or is in quarantine if it's new to the shelter). They will tell you if it's a good time to come see the dog.
Absolutely but be careful. We came to pet and walk the dogs but can home with a new addition to the family 😊

All dogs over 6 months will be fixed. Dogs under 6 months have a refundable fee associated with them. This will be refunded after they have been spayed/neutered.
