3 books for $12. Shop smells great and the owner a hoot. Enjoy your time there.

A serious bookstore for the person who enjoys finding the type of book that excites the mind. Do not look for candles or stationary here, it’s not that kind of place. It is for that book to devour seated in your favorite chair as the rain howls outside. But you are warm and safe and engrossed in your own world because you have your book, the one you found here. The woman at the counter, the owner?, is a reader, she is mucho interesting. I love this place, can you tell. Park in the back, it’s hell trying to back out on a busy street. It is worth the trip.

The owners were very friendly and their collection is fantastic. I found a beautiful copy of a "The Three Investigators" and the Bible. It has a very cozy atmosphere if you want to sit down and read there. They ever have a coffee machine. I am looking forward to going back!

Questions & Answers

Do you buy books

We do buy select books. We typically give trade credit, sometimes we will pay if the book is especially valuable. If you can send us a list or take a picture of the books, we can let you know if we are interested. Thanks.

Do you take donated older cook books?

Thanks for your inquiry and interest in our business. We don’t take donations per se as we are not a charity. If you are familiar with the store you will know that we don’t have a lot of extra room and since we pay for our store floor and storage space, the only way we can stay in business is with high inventory turnover. Therefore, we need to be very careful of the books we acquire even if the acquisition cost is zero. If you can send us a list or take a picture of the books you would like sell to us at zero cost(or we may be able to give you a store credit), we can let you know if we are interested. Thanks.
