Good hotel next to Universal Orlando parks. 1bdr with two queens and sofa bed was very spacious. Room was dated but clean. Breakfast was decent but typical hotel buffet with cereal, eggs, etc. Shuttle is helpful for Universal parks but one need reservation (could be done same day) and departure time is ok but last return is way too early at 8pm. Parks close at 9pm or 10pm depending on park so leaving park at 8pm to catch the bus absolutely did not make sense. So uber is the solution and cost is about $15-20 to hotel. Parking is free so this is a plus. Overall not bad hotel with good value.

My stay wasn't very good. The good parts of the stay was the pool and hot tub, the common area was well kept and breakfast was pretty good. Size of the room was nice but room 415 is in need of maintenance. Main issue with the room was it smelled bad. Had a damp musty smell mainly from the bathroom/sink area. After taking a shower found out why the room smelled bad. The shower curtain bar was broken from the wall. Which allowed the curtain to slide to the middle slowly. This allowed water to pool on the floor. There is really no exhaust system here so the air is not circulating. The 2 tiles closer to the door are starting to loosen up you can hear a crackling noise when stepped on. The carpet itself is worn and sort of sticky. Went to close the curtains saw they were stained. At check out the woman stated she was sorry about the room issues and they will begin renovations in the summer. I would not stay at this hotel again nor would I recommend. Maybe try Home2 or the Garden Inn if your a rewards member.

This is only my first night and don’t have a lot of good things to say about this property. At $200/night and a as diamond member I expect a property that is fresh and well maintained. This property is nether. First they assigned me the last possible room on the fourth floor which is quite a hike considering the only working elevator is on the complete opposite side of the building. The other elevator has been out of order for two days. My room is very dated with my bathroom sink all chipped and kitchen cutlery drawer with a giant hole in it. The side door will not accept room keys or digital keys forcing me to enter only by the front entrance where there is no parking. And to top off the evening we get a false fire alarm at 10:00pm, sending everyone back to their rooms without as much as a sincere apology. I can’t say so far this is money well spent or that I could ever recommend this hotel to anyone that I don’t have a grudge with. Homewood Suites is not a Ramada motel and should do better than this!

Yes they have. You can ask the guys who is in the booth of universal in the ground floor about the time of the shuttle bus
Great place to stay for Universal/Islamds of Adventure OR if you plan on spending a lot of time on International Drive (tons of stuff to do with kiddos there) but nothing on Hotel property is "kid friendly" or say. It's nice, has a kitchen, so that's a big plus and didn't charge us for our small dog who travels with us...we will definitely return.
Yes it does. Sometimes behind but they do run throughout the day.
Yes
You would have to take the LYNX public transit service to get there. 1.board bus 104, there is a stop on university Blvd and alafaya trail. 2. Arrive at the grand Station in downtown orlando. 3.take the bus that indicates its going to SeaWorld on the windshield display, or check in with the front desk to see which bus it is.
They do not but you need to get a parking permit from reception.
The Florida mall
