This has been one of my favorite Hotel Indigo’s I’ve stayed in. The view is amazing. My husband stayed here the night we got married on our way back home to Florida. The room was huge and the bathroom had a big walk-in shower. I wanted to stay in bed all day and just look at the mountains. The location is good but there are not a lot of places to eat in the area. Over all it was great!

We booked a penthouse suite to have plenty of room to move around and invite people to our room, and the views did not disappoint! Check in was super easy. Jessica and Mark went out of their way to make sure our stay was up to satisfaction. The hotel has a small bar with really good roasted coffee, a good selection of liquor options, and several TVs so we could catch some sports. Our bartender Erica was phenomenal- so friendly and fun and great at what she does!!! Valet is easy except peak time around check out seems to be a bit of a wait, which is to be expected. The only downsides were the "freshness" of the hotel rooms- our linens and such were clean, but the furniture could use some updating as well as a paint job and some more detail to cleaning the nooks and crannies of the room itself. There is no microwave in the room, but I can see that as a liability. We did hear that they are scheduled for a renovation which will be exciting to see, because otherwise we loved our stay! Location is great and just a short walk from everything downtown. Traffic noise off the highway is pretty persistent but it didn't bother us much. We will definitely check this place out again next time we are in town. if not just to pop in and say hi to our resident bartender!

I stayed here last week for a friend's surprise elopement and I would definitely stay here again! Mark, that worked at the front desk was such a pleasure and so nice, even if hes secretly a Slytherin! All the valet guys were so helpful and worked quickly! My party and I spent a lot of time at the bar in the lobby hanging out with Cupcake! She is awesome and such a fun bartender! The location of the hotel right off the highway and within walking distance of so many things downtown is all you can ask for when traveling!

As a long-time customer of Holiday Inn, I was disappointed with the quality of my stay at this Indigo hotel. I have stayed at the Indigo in San Diego in the past and found it to be an above average experience. Indigo hotels are premium hotels in the IHG network. This is why we chose this Indigo hotel to stay at among the many hotel choices in Asheville, NC. This Indigo was understaffed. The bar was not open. The coffee shop had a very long wait because only one person was on staff. In addition, only one of the 2 elevators worked. That made moving around in the hotel taking more time than it should. Also, there was no roof-top or elevated outdoor seating/bar. With the beautiful vantage point of your hotel, it was an expectation by us, just like the San Diego Indigo. Indigo customers expect the experience to be better than the average IHG hotel. Staffing should not be an issue since COVID is not a big issue now. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our stay at this Indigo.
