A surprising hidden gem of green space in the middle of east Charlotte. Trails could be more maintained but look well kept and newly renovated.

Great small trails almost in uptown Charlotte.

Evergreen Nature Preserve is one of my favorite parks in Charlotte! This park has beautiful scenery and plenty of trails to walk. Perfect for families, dog owners, or people looking to get active! There’s even a common building with benches if you want to work outdoors or have a meal outside. Highly recommend Evergreen Nature Preserve!

Explain to everyone that there is no bike riding on main trails, only at Norland.Basketball court is at winter field. You have one set of rules at Norland entrance and another at Winterfield entrance.Almost got into a fight with biker on Tulip trail.

I talked to park ranger and he doesn't know the rules for bicycles! They are more interested in going to grand openings and regrandopenings.Bicycles have never been allowed and since they built million dollar bathroom, herds of bicyclists flock to trails.4 wheelers will run you over late afternoon.Ranger told me to get pictures! They don't care.Engineers should have spent money cleaning out the creek instead of pulling up benches, closing trails and killing wisteria thats been there for 50 years.Brad is right. The city has ruined a pristine nature trail!
