The staff always greeted all customers with a pleasant smile, a good morning or afternoon or whichever time of the day it is. If I could have rated the above Famous Pawnbrokers with more than five [5] stars,” I most certainly would have”. For now, I would like to discuss the manager Ivan and employee Paul who provided me with “Great” customer services, he was very patient and caring he made sure that I was pleased with my selections, as well as being professional, polite, respectful and kind. Because I am a senior citizen, I felt special due to the manner in which I was being treated with dignity and respect. Based on observation the staff appeared to treated all the customers in that manner due to, the immaculate guidance and supervision of manager Ivan. The merchandise at this location is of great elegance and eminence which attracts customers to this location, the staff works closely with you around your budget and make items affordable for you by introducing to you their layaway plan in which also attracts customers. The outside of the establishment is clean and plenty of free parking in which is very important to customers, on the inside is very pleasant environment very clean, tidy, neat and well organized. I highly recommend Famous Pawnbrokers 6007 Marlboro Pike Forestville MD 20747 #32 to all my friends, family and others. Thank You for the excellent Customer Services and Merchandise.

Customer service was on point. I was in and out. The staff was pleasant and not pushy. I got top dollar for my speakers that I sold.

I would avoid this location, as twice now I have gone there to sell jewelry. The first time, I brought a platinum broach to sell, which they said was not real before even testing it. I assured her that it was and she said she was sure it wasn't. I asked another associate and they agreed to test it. Of course it came back as authentic. When the first associate saw this, she went to the back of the store until I left instead of apologizing. The second and last time I came here, I brought a carbon fiber Invicta wristwatch. A different associate felt the watch and said it was too lightweight to be real and that she knows Invicta watches. I left, very upset and got $150 at the pawn shop a few doors down. Their employees are very arrogant and don't seem to have the knowledge to back up their claim. Other pawnshops with the same name seem to be much better prepared to appraise valuables than this location.

I dealt with a lot of Pawnshops over the years, I really have. And this one is relatively good. If you have some of value you will be able to get cash. BUT this is what I really appreciate, they actually look at the item. But whatever you do, DO NOT GO TO THE PAWNBROKERS at 5931 Martin Luther King Hwy, the manager there doesn't know how to evaluate up to date electronics. Go to the store off of Marlbro. Pike.
