I haven’t been to this program, but would really like to someday soon. I just wanted to take the time though to write a review for Alicia and the time she took on the phone when I had called for information about the program and just how kind and caring she was to me and how she truly made me feel like she genuinely cared about making sure that I was able to have the knowledge I needed from the info I was giving her about my situation and what my best options would be and where to start what she thought would honestly be the best choice for me and make sure that I knew each detail to be able to make the right decision and the steps I should take to make the situation I am currently in better and step by step of what I should do to make sure that I would succeed and not fail. She didn’t rush me at all with all of the different questions that I had, since I don’t really know the different processes and since everyone has different circumstances and situations that they’re in and are going through. So I just wanted to make sure that she was recognized for her kindness and hard work and for just being a genuinely kind person that truly cares about others and what they are going through. Thank you so much again Alicia, your kindness really went so far today with me and truly gave me hope that I was starting to lose and made me feel like everything WILL be okay and that I CAN accomplish anything I truly want to in life and that I CAN be happy and live a life that I want to live and get back on track and that I CAN get through all the small obstacles that life throws at us sometimes, just when I was starting to feel so hopeless and that I wasn't strong enough to get through the obstacle that life has thrown at me lately. I highly recommend that if you are also dealing with your own obstacles right now in life and are starting to feel so hopeless and need help or guidance, I definitely recommend reaching out to Colettes children's home and asking to speak to Alicia, because she will be honest with you and guide you and will do her best to give you the best advice on what is best for you and your situation or obstacle that you're dealing with in life right now and will be honest and kind and won’t make you feel judged and will just be sincere and kind and give you her honest opinion of where to start. 😊

Our lives have been FOREVER CHANGED! Words cannot express how grateful and blessed my little family has been through Colette's Childrens Home. We went through their program just recently and have our own apartment now all with the help of Colette's Childrens Home. If you are struggling with chemical dependency, homelessness or alcoholism, I highly recommend their program for you.

We love everything about Colettes children’s home! They are truly a blessing! Everyone there works above and beyond to provide women and their children with a safe place to stay and anything else you could need. To someone like me who had nowhere else to go they are life savers! The owner and everyone who works there has a true passion for helping others and it shows. This place is a bright shining light and we need more places like it. I am so grateful for Colettes!!

Extremely amazing people that are willing to help one another to achieve there goals! I really appreciate all there resources that they provide for me and many other people in this program as well as consistency, as to an up to date information. Safe Environment was also provide for the children and for mothers. Children also were given a chance to receive extra attention on a one and one Tutoring in this program. Extremely helpful case manager. This is my personal life experience that I had during my stay. Recommend this place for mother’s with children in need of a second chance. Thank you so much Collettes Children Home because it was my home.

It's for women and children, and you are required to have a job and if you don't they Give you 30 days to get one, that is a requirement to reside there you do get your own room in an apartment and you share the apartment with another small family you just have to call them explain your situation and they give you an interview and see if you qualify.
Yes it's very much needed! It's a huge help all the clothing and housing supplies like kitchen appliances etc.

You have to call and get on a waiting list. And yes once you get called they give you an apt. U need to work at least 36hrs a week. They will collect a percentage, that goes to an account they will return to you once you complete the program. Is like a saving
Dont volunteer there isnt not a good shelter, my case manager deby is a racist find another shelter to volunteer at.

Yes she can. She has to get a job within 30 days though. Tell her to keep calling everyday to see if they have openings. She won't be able to choose the location shes placed. Its wheerever they have a spot open.
Collettes saved my life and helped me become a happy and loving mother. The program is awesome and could benefit you seriously if you want help you will have to humble yourself. Good luck!
