Our family experienced severe discrimination from an event backed by the Dept. of Parks and Recreation today. I live on the block. I did not receive any notice mentioning that I am forbidden to go in and out of my property. I ran some errands and returned to my disabled mother, who had a double knee replacement. The traffic officer, along with three gentlemen, told me that I could not park on the street or I would get towed. I said that was fine because I was trying to get to my parking lot, and I was not going to park on the street. Then they said that they blocked the street and I could not go into my home. I said I needed to pick up my disabled mom, who has difficulty walking. They still declined. I told them I would remove one of the signs to pick up my mom, and he said if I do that, you will get what is coming to you. We have three grown men now threatening me? The three men stated that it was your orders to not let anyone, including residents on the street, in or out. I told him again that my mom is disabled and that she cannot walk far distances. I raised my voice as well because I do not appreciate being threatened by three men in front of my family, including two senior citizens and one who is disabled. I also told him that she had completed exercising for the day, preventing her from walking. They still declined. We felt the full force of discrimination from the people running the event and P and R. Does P and R have the authority to forbid me from entering my own home? Secondly, if I could not park in my parking lot and residence, where was the department to help disabled residents? You discriminated against an elderly woman who is disabled. You did not provide the resources necessary for disabled people who need to move in and out of the property.

Great turf field. I like the fact that it has a little fence around making better for the game. The other fields (dirt fields) are decent.
