I eat A LOT of pizza. I’ve been to a bunch of local places around Virginia Beach and Norfolk and I must say the taste of this one holds its own. I drove by this place every day for like the last few years and FINALLY decided to give it a shot. I’m picky and didn’t want my feelings to be hurt if it was bad lol and the kids may mutiny over bad pizza on pizza night! I’ve only had the Detroit style deep dish so far but it’s definitely tasty and the kids voted to add it to our menu of various pizza places. Lol I would choose this over Pap John’s and Dominos for sure and probably even over the Hut and Marcos to be honest. Just depends I like specific types and configurations of pizza from different the latter 2. So if I have a specific taste I’d still go there. The size and dough consistency almost reminds me of what Pizza Hut pan pizza used to taste like in the late 80s and early 90s when they were really staring to make a name for themselves before they went super commercial. Like back when people would go to Pizza Hut as a restaurant and actually eat inside and have birthday parties there. Wow I’m sounding old lol. The crust is crispy on the edges. The butter topping on the crust is just delicious. The thickness of the dough, the stretching of the cheese and that nice slight crunch you get with every bite is just really a refreshing change from the commercial players. I will say that the price can be a bit high if you don’t catch a deal. But I’ll gladly pay for quality. My one critique would be the toppings. We don’t eat pork so sweet delicious crunchy pepperoni is out for us. So we get ground beef and sometimes green pepper. I’d like to see better quality beef toppings rather than the little bite sized nibbles and maybe sliced green peppers rather than diced. But those are small things. We will definitely be visiting Jet’s again… probably about every 2-3 weeks at least. Keep up the good work Jet’s!

Jets is hands down my favorite pizza in town! The dough and crust have so much flavor, and the service is always top notch!!! David takes my order often, and I’ve never had such pleasant ordering experiences over the phone! Thank you guys, y’all are all stars in my book.

Jet’s is literally the best and this location carries on the Detroit style tradition flawlessly. I had to move away from Michigan for work and cannot describe how happy I was to find out I didn’t have to give up access to my fav pizza chain while living here on the coast. Thank you to whomever made the decision to open one up here, and thank you to everyone working there to keep the magic alive and share the love. Makes me cheese harder than the guy on the box

Today was my first time ordering from Jet’s and I was impressed. Pizza was a little greasy but not over the top. Ranch dressing was really tasty as well. I would say the cookie was overpriced but still good. I will be ordering from again.

Employees and customers are separated by a plastic barrier for the most part; however most employees I witnessed while I was in the store were not distanced and were not wearing masks.
Not aware of any. I wish another location would open. It's great pizza.
