Moved in December 2021, we have a large dog so this was a significant reason for choosing this facility. Here are my pro's, con's, and other thoughts on the facility for anyone looking currently and yes the prices have surged incredibly along with most OC housing so I will leave pricing details out of it. Pros - parking is very easy and the gated portion offers some peace of mind. The fact that it is unassigned does not have any impact in finding a spot. - Proximity to downtown fullerton entertainment. I have found myself at a few local open mics, stand up comedy, poetry mics that I would not otherwise do at my previous city. There is also a large bar scene here if you have never been - Farmers market from April - September - Easy dog relief areas steps away from the grounds. Also great walking around the historic neighborhoods if you have time to spare. - Leasing office has addressed all of my concerns in a quick manner - proximity to the fullerton loop hiking trail and hillcrest park - Included appliances are pretty decent. Electric range, large dishwasher, fridge, Nest. The washer and dryer could be better. - While the windows are thin, they are large offering lots of natural light - Walkability is awesome! Of course being downtown we have lots of resources and restaurants but there are also quaint neighborhoods surrounding. It's also only a 20 minute walk to the Costco and Amazon Fresh if you need groceries or returns. Just be very careful on Harbor, especially if you choose to go at night. Cons - I will address the common issue every one knows about: homeless in the area. There are regularly 3-5 on a nightly basis walking the plaza area near Wilshire. They often get into yelling matches but generally keep to themselves and leave me alone. This is not the complex's doing and they offer a free security number to call so they can only do so much - I had to drop a star because of the homeless. I have to walk my dog at least 3 times a day and they are everywhere especially in the plaza. The residents on the portal mention being harassed, broken windows including down in the gated part, screaming from the trash chute, and feeling unsafe. Again, this isn't the apartment's issue to handle but we are paying a lot of money to be here. - I don't trust shipping packages to the unit as I don't know if they will end up at my doorstep or in the mailroom. Many people reported missing packages - No recycling. It's all in one trash chute and I think city of Fullerton does the rest but it feels wrong - The windows are single pane so there is very little noise isolation. Everything in the busy downtown district comes right through *They are double pane my mistake but it's still noisy - Noise is about 6/10. Car alarms, Harbor, Chapman, homeless, the city maintenance leaf blowers and hedge trimmers, all contribute to this. As mentioned above the windows are outdated so they don't help much but it's certainly not quiet. I am also outfacing so maybe it's quieter for the units that face inward. - No security cameras anywhere on site Wish list - better ventilation for cooking. The microwave sucks air up but just keeps it in the unit instead of piping it outside. We have set off the fire alarms pretty often upon our first few months. - Electronic locks or smart locks for the doors. It is only a Home Depot common deadbolt. - Electronic access to the stairwell. The only way up that I know is through the elevator which can be crowded sometimes with other dogs - More community opportunities. I say hi to people in the hallways but that's it. I know there are a lot of great people in the place but no way to meet and greet. Tips - The units facing south outward toward Wilshire get natural light all day and a great view of the plaza where the farmers market will be. I think it's a great quality of life improvement and the best view you can have if you're going to be inside a lot. - Park in the gated lot and don't leave anything in sight. Leave the car locked or someone will try to open it.

My family and I just moved to City Pointe and the experience we have had has been incredible. From the moment that Dylan received us cordially to take the tour to each step of the application process which, thanks to him, was all easier and faster. After visiting other places in our apartment search and coming to this place and seeing all that City Pointe has to offer is very satisfying. I meet Scott and Bryan from maintenance and they are super friendly too. Happy to call this place home where my family and my children's puppy enjoy the view and the safe area.

5 stars across the board! From the leasing people to the Maintenance people on site. Everyone was super kind, knowledgeable and respectful. Anything needed, you had someone right there helping you or following up with you! Super easy to move in!! I’m very OCD and when I moved in, this place was clean! Amazing place to live definitely! The staff has your back! I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Amazing location!! Close to shopping, bars and restaurant! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My girlfriend and I just moved into this amazing place at the end of last month. I cannot stress to you how nice the inside and out is at City Pointe. I have lived in a lot of apartments and this one by far blows them all out of the water. When I say once you walk into your apartment you have the feeling of HOME hit you in the face is a understatement. The whole farmers market every Thursday is legit the best thing ever the music is even nice to hear not one complaint.
