Venue was nice but my food was basically inedible. I got a sandwich that was just a rock solid piece of fry batter with no meat in it between two buns. Would’ve taken a picture of it but the lights were off and the show had started by the time I got my food. Next time I see a show here I will definitely not be ordering food.

I have awesome time and a loving evening with my love at the Richmond Funnybone on July 3, 2022 seeing Comedian Tony Rock for the 1st time. I will definitely go back to see him again. My Grilled Chicken Salad was the bomb 💣 I will definitely get the one with the shrimp next time. The only thing I needed was a bigger cup of salad dressing for a large salad like that.

So we just returned to the FunnyBone for the first time since the pandemic. I must say I LOVE the changes they have made. Before I hated going as you had to arrive early to get in line to get good seating near the front and the tables were close together. Now, you are seated based on when you purchased your ticket. So don’t wait, buy your tickets early if you want to sit up front. The next change I love is you buy your tickets based on table seating. We brought a table for four and didn’t have to worry about sharing it with people we didn’t know. You can do a table for two or a shared table for 4. Another change I like is the tables are spaced out a little more and they are positioned so you don’t have two people having to turn away from table to see the show. The food and drinks were good, but expensive. We had a great time and still plan to go back as the precautions were good.

It was too hot in there. Even the comedians joked but was serious about it. Now, picture 95 percent not wearing a mask laughing every 10 seconds. It got hotter and hotter. I think the headliner stopped because he was getting too hot. Not comfortable at all. No excuse for the A/C not functioning properly.
