I go here only because there are no other ethic markets nearby. Their quality have gone down very significantly since they opened a few years back. Whatever you buy, make sure to use them as soon as you can. If you see non-perishable goods you like, check the expiration dates and then get as many as you can as they don't restock often. My major complaint is that the pricing on the shelf labels DOES NOT match with the price you will pay. I also get charged more for at least one item every single time I go there. They refuse to change the price even if you show them a photo of the price labels on the shelves. I usually just let it go if it's not much, but sometimes we are talking about double the price.. In any case, trying to reason with them is useless. So just let it go or tell them to take the item off. Don't waste your time.

They are over priced and someone that works here shared with me that when they receive their produce it goes straight to the freezer. When stock gets low they pull it out of the freezer and replenish it that way. That explains why alot of it looks horrible. They're lunch meat was sour one time I bought it, I don't believe it sells enough. Be careful with some of their meats bc of the same issue, they don't sell or move fast enough. I don't even want to know about their seafood. Hard to believe that the Newark Farmers market is owned by the same people. The Newark one is the complete opposite. Smh, 🤮

Make sure you check the expiration dates on your items!!!!!!!!!! They are very unprofessional here too. The cashier tried to say it was a $5 minimum to use my card but I was there just the other day and she didn’t charge me anything for spending under $5. So if there’s a way to spend under $5 without getting charged for it why keep stealing people’s money? I have the same kind of card reader they have at my job and we don’t charge anyone a minimum same brand and everything. It’s just a lie to steal people’s money

Good deals but you have to look around and be selective. I got asparagus for 99 cents and it was delicious. I would say don't wait to cook or use the produce. The bakery department had delicious fresh bread from Teixeira's bakery in NJ.
