COVID-19 Vaccination Center. Vaccination center is located on the second floor in Building 2 of this campus which is quite far from the main parking lot. Follow the signs leading to the Building 2 which is left of the main building if you are facing it. Check with the receptionist and fill out the form about Covid-19 vaccination history and sign. When you enter the vaccination room there are sections for each vaccination brand you are seeking such as Moderna or Pfizer or Jenssen. After you get vaccinated you need to wait 15 minutes at the seats reserved for observation period. Process is pretty quick and the staff are quite nice. It was smooth and painless.

So I recently had my baby there on June 24th of 2022 my experience there was good and bad the first nurse I had named Jessica was amazing I loved how she made me feel very comfortable and at home very Attentive and caring. And I didn’t get the chance to thank her. The second nurse I had was awful to me her name is Claudia she wasn’t attending or checking in I had an epidural put in me and she was on her phone checking her social media and I was crying and she rudely asked why I was crying she wasn’t moving me on the bed knowing I am not able to move cause of the epidural I did complain about the catheter hurting me alot and she didn’t care and just walked out of the room. She ended up leaving to another patient and never told me I was getting a new nurse I was by myself with my husband for an hour without her checking in. But I do want to say after giving birth my nurse grace was the best I loved her and how she came in explained everything to me and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable once she was great I can’t thank her enough. The only reason I’m giving a one start is because of Claudia and how she treated me.

Kaiser Baldwin Park is the absolute worst and continues to exceed the highest level of disappointment. I have had Covid including chest pains, trouble breathing and a cough that has likely turned into pneumonia and been unable to get ANY HELP AT All. I went to the ER and waited 4 1/2 hours while the waiting room broke out in arguments over chairs and nothing was done about it. I was never seen and given ZERO direction or priority. I have made multiple attempts to get a hold of my doctor and yet to hear back after almost a week. When I call, they say there are no appointments and there was literally nothing I could do. I’ve never felt so mistreated and uncared for by a healthcare company in my life. Kaiser you have absolutely lost my trust and belief that you have my best interest and have an obligation to do people better than this.

Receptionist from urgent care to the lab were extremely rude. Not just to me but many patients that were being seen today May 22nd. I get it, it’s a Sunday and no one wants to work today and I’m sure people don’t just hope to get sick and come in on a weekend to be seen. Kaiser do better with your customer Service and care for your patients. Why do we pay for supposedly “great” insurance if we’re not getting the care and help we need.

For the hospital they recommend from 8:30am-12:30pm then 1:30-4:30. They are not really strict on times though. They just want to make sure that the patient rests. Maternity visiting hours are different.

Kaiser Permanente decided that the surrounding KP pharmacies could distribute the volume provided by the 2nd floor location. It became obsolete.
At Kaiser Baldwin Park you can walk up for the booster, but you need to get an appointment for it
I parked in the Emergency and walked around. Much faster today.
If you are wanting a vaccine, it is in the new building on the second floor. If you are looking for testing, that is in the parking structure. Signage with directions are visible.
Last I heard was all 3. Earlier this year when I got it, they were the only one that had the J&J.
During the weekdays, the hospital lab opens at 6:30AM.

You need yo get the doctor's order first. The test is done drive-thru on the 3rd floor of the parking lot.
As long as the patient doesn't have instructions to not provide information about them, the hospital can provide general, vague info. Yes, the patient is here. Yes the patient is stable. But the staff CANNOT go into details. Good luck!
This is going to be a question for your wife's ob/gyn. Especially in covid times, it's all for the safety of her and her baby. Good luck!!!

They are adding a new medical building it should be finished at the end of 2019 or that's what they say it's unfortunate that the new parking structure has been built but yet a lot of it is roped off to reconstruct the old structure to make sure that its sound enough to have our members park there again

When they discharged your mom they should have given you a number to the nurse desk if not Kaiser has a nurse hotline you can call but of course everyone will say call 911 to be on the safe side
It has been my experience processing specimens on Sundays I believe 24 hours for the day. But only at the hospital facilities. Most medical office labs do not have 24-hour Staffing. The have limited hours of service at each of the Medical Offices and Clinics y
